For the era/class, two stars was the norm. look at the c for the age, 3 series of same era(mid 90's). Nice looking though and more individual than a 3 or a C(despite looking like a Camry in it's homeland)

I endured a 60mph frontal collision in a late model 406 last summer. I was lucky, the car did it's stuff and I got away with minimal injuries.
Psychologically it's hurt me, big time.
