  • やっぱ三国志はおもしれーな!

  • Where Lu Bu >.>

  • @2002virus: Lu Bu doesn't come into play until Si Shui Gate. We're still at the Yellow Turbans.

  • @HYAAALP But wasn't he alive during that time? o.o Sorry, never a fan of shu beside zhao yun >.>

  • @2002virus: He WAS alive, but he just wasn't very important during the Yellow Turban Rebellion. Don't worry, the battles of Si Shui and Hu Lao Gate are soon after this.

  • No, last I checked. It skipped all the day to his death >.>

  • @2002virus later

  • wheree iss ma chaoo?????????

  • Ma chao isent in the story for awhile i dont think i havent watched rotk... but in dynasty warriors they help him and he joins them...

  • yeah i noe ma chao is my fav char in the game hahah and hes one of the 5 tiger generals rite? i read it in the descrptions for ma chao lol i didnt beleive it at first i think it was the three sworn brothers zhou yun and ma chao

  • Ma Chao dosen't come till Tong Gate the show starts during the Rebellion of the Yellow Turbins

  • nice discussion...

  • AWESOME!

Which episode do they introduce Zhao Yun?

  • i swear off wine... time to get another drink lol

  • but I don't...... read Sailormoon.... XD, what an idiot. I'm more of a Samurai Champloo guy; but Sailormoon is a fun show to watch too ^_^ but a homophobic meat head like yourself is too full of wife beating imbred blood to enjoy anything that doesn't involve guys with swords killing eachother... but back on the subject, your pathetic and..... a closet faggot..... ROTK is a fictional novel, get over it

  • Dude, don't worry about these children, if they want to believe this shit is real, let em. They're just immature

  • I suppose..... just kinda hilarious

  • lui bei seems different then in dynasty warriors

  • Does anyone have a clue as to when this series was made? Judging by the art I'd say somewhere in the early 80s...

  • what i hate about the eunuchs is that Liu Tao, some guy who serves the emperor, told the emperor that they were commiting crimes. and the eunuchs said he was lying, and was executedby Cao Cao. T-T

  • whatever u guys said...this event really did happened..if it didnt..why are historians are trying to figure out such things on the discovery channel?..if this thing really didnt happened..why is there historical books about this event being held long long ago?..Those who say this event didnt happened..are just plain stupid..if u guyz disagree with me..try and challenge me..cause i know the history of china..from the first emperor until now..

  • nice one, I know alot about three kingdom

  • what a child

  • awsome video

  • Guan yu in pyjamas, heheh

  • dynasty warriors 5

  • Who the fuck is that Xiang Lan?

I don't remember there is such a character in the novel.

  • I want to find the novel. Where did you get it?

  • Liu Bei's future wife.... she's Lady Gan, or Mi Shu in the novels and/or games

  • She does not exist in the novel. Her equivalence in the novel is Liu Bei's second wife, Madam/Lady Mi (Lady Gan is the first wife).

  • i think it should be in chinese

  • lol never kill me

  • i know every character before watching this DW$ rulez

  • this anime is wrong. . . zhang jiao was a healer, he helped the peasants that were poor because of the taxes but here and on the game (dynasty warriors) they put him as a criminal. . . still, is a great anime

  • Fuh.. Yellow Turban such a devil.

  • I like how he's holding the sword like a katana

  • 1995

  • is this series new or very old? cause i never heard of it before

  • they should drawn Liu Xuan De (Liu Bei) more older/mature. He looks younger than both Guan Yu and Zhang Fei.. because he is older in age.

  • i would think the best place to start is the manga (which is surprisingly accurate), then the tv series (81 episodes), then the novel. then if u wanna go in real deep, read the historical novel

  • I like this cartoon

  • what are u talking about, it is chinese custome. before the last dynasty, that's how people wear.

  • lol

  • ...they are using japanese customs not chinese.

  • please check my channel to see REAL chinese custom --(Han nation's custom) ,then speak againg . ^_^

  • liu bei is so cool :D

  • oh u onli had 5 vids -_-. lol thnks anyway

  • this doesn't quite follow historical events but that doesn't mean it isn't good, i like it, but then again i like any cartoon

  • The beginning of the brotherhood of Shu.

  • i have all the episodes as DVD, but not as this version. as an weeeellll better un. i really like this. for anyone who doesnt know (firstly ur stupid) this is a real thing. it happened all in china, long long ago

  • what version is that?I dont like this version cos watching the beggining of it it doesnt show how and why the yellow turbans formed?

  • read the book

  • "ur stupid"? Some real irony there...

  • not all you now.Luo ghuanzhon has his own imagination

  • I wish this was the uncut versions.

  • This is digracefully incorrect, the San Guo is nothing like this crap...

  • I'm guessing this is an older anime. They need to remake this. Then it would really kickass!!!

  • This was made round 1978 or something, the live action one ( which I still have not found ) was made in 1955. Guan yu Liu Bei and Zieng Fei look a hellavulot younger than when you see them in the game

  • dont get y they laugh. dat's definitly not funny!

  • Yide is supreme!

  • in games, zhang fei starts off in chang ban.

  • ROTK is not even real, it is a novel created with someone with an outstanding imagination, so even if it was according to hisory (the story) it wouldn't be.

  • Hey, before you make a comment about ROTK not being real. Please do more research. Ignorant comments like this make you look bad. The story may be fiction but the events, characters, places, strategies are real and is recorded in Chinese historical documents. Thanks.

  • sonic:although diego didnt do research at least u should be more polite .

diego:this story isnt even following the novel

  • I'm a gigantic ROTK, KESSEN, DYNASTY Warriors fan, and know the story every which way you can even know, and yes it does follow the novel, not perfectly, but as a summary, Chang Ban....... Yellow Turban Rebellion, Brotherhood Oath between Liu Bei, Guan Yu, and Zhang Fei

  • Where's your research to challenge me? The characters arent real jerk off, Sun Tzu was real, and his sons like Sun Jian was fake. And recorded Chinese History? Its a novel!!! You're an idiot. Ofcourse stradegies are real, something so general can't be proven fake. if you did you're research you checked it out in Wikipedia fiction and have no right to stand up to me like you have a purpose, you just waste my time

  • yes, there's a novel base on the actual historical event, i think AungJyawThein meant this movie is not base on the novel nor the actual event.

  • just because you a fan of all the animates it ever made for three kingdoms and it makes you a chinese history expert? go do some research first before you post comments like that. Liu Bei is an actual historical figure. advice to you, read some books instead of leeching off youtube and telling lies

  • Wrong..... my god, get your brain out of this fantasy world....... I do read books; btw, your one to speak about leeching off youtube... I say it's fake because I'm not insane like all of you, Liu Bei was fake..... ROTK was fake... it was a novel, you guys sound like the scientology cult people

  • Liu Bei is real, though not the descendant of Liu Xiu and never a close relative of the royalty as in the novel. Luo Guanzhong had changed certain things in his novel. In history Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei were close friends instead of sworn brothers.

  • Zhou Yu's trait in history was totally contrary of that in the novel, and he died of disease instead of anger. Guan Yu did not kill the six soldiers when he returned to Liu Bei. In the battle of the Red Cliff, Zhuge Liang observed the weather instead of "calling for the wind from the east"... There are just too many, but it was these that made the novel enjoyable! And from the "invented events" we could say that Luo really learned his Art of War by heart.

  • Of course, this animé has also changed some scenes in the original novel. Like in the original novel, how Liu Bei, Guan Yu and Zhang Fei met is nothing like that. There is no such character as Xianglan and Liu Bei's second wife, Madam Mi commits suicide by jumping into a well before handing Adou (Liu Chan) to Zhao Yun, etc.

  • @HingYok but atleast the fun of knowing how they met and start building up the army is great

  • @HingYok Thank you, Mr Pedantic.

I'd rather just enjoy it than pick out everything that's different about it.

  • @TheSlinkyGuyShow

Well, if you look at the user Diegoheaven's comments, you'd know why I was so urged to type all those things. It's our culture they are disputing about. I felt it rather important to explain the matter to people who thought they understand it enough only by watching the anime and those who are interested in what really happens in history. At that time YouTube still hadn't added the "@someone" feature, so most of us simply responded without addressing the commentator.

  • @HingYok Ah. I'm actually very sorry about that. I didn't realise. My mistake.

  • @TheSlinkyGuyShow

    That's okay :-)

  • So what? btw, why are you researching me? checking my favorites and stuff before replying, wow your pathetic, also, reading is not a waste of life, especially reading fiction, if you emmerse yourself into everything that is real you don't grow as a human being, you stay an uninteresting/ deranged individual whose life revolves around arguing about trivial matters, the lack of respect for one's opinion... ROTK is fake, get over it, it's amazing an anime fan like me is telling you this right?

  • haha pathetic? sailor moon is. n ur watching it.............. lack or respect? u started shit here. reading stuff like this does not help u. reading sailor moon wont make u smarter but just more childish

  • LOL! all this fight just because of a simple ROTK. :P

    Peace bros!

  • i agree to this comment.

    especially the last line.

cant you all do something else instead of sit here and look up dynasty warrior legends and all the stupid nonsense in the world.

  • Firstly, I don't like your attitude. You really should do your research before arguing. A large portion of the characters and events in the novel are real. In high school we had to read an article written by Zhuge Liang (《前出師表》) and a poem by Cao Cao (《短歌行》).

  • I should not have used the word "based on real historical records" instead of the word "real", for Luo had changed some factors in them.

  • so whats more historically accurate the animated version or the tv series version of ROTK would you know by any chance?

  • Just got to watch some excerts of the tv series version recently and I think it is more historically accurate than the novel as it is loyal to the novel. However we can't say it is totally historically correct as even the novel is often not true to the historical record when it comes to details of the events.

  • tv excerpts?!!! where???

    ^^,

  • it was on tv in taiwan when i posted the comment. most of the lines are even "adopted" (they were exactly the same as in the novel).

  • Luo Guanzhong, the author of the novel, wrote the stories based on the history book The Three Kingdoms (《三國志》) and literary works written by the end of the East Han Dynasty and that in the Three Kingdom Period.

  • thanks a lot for this video

  • This is not according to history.. this is make up story.. i dun really like it :(

  • Neither was the novel, but it's still cool. They don't stay true to the novel very much, which is why it's bad.

  • Zhang Fei coolness, WTF!
