I disagree with your assesment of Ezekiel 38 and 39. These prophecies deal with the people who have been brought back from the dispersia. You must also be one who rejects the literal 1000 year reign of Christ on earth. Armaggedon is shown to be at the end of this Millenial reign of Christ, yet you are equating Ezekiels prophecy with Armaggedon, which cannot be, unless the Millenial reign of Christ is also not true.

This battle will happen 1000 years After the second coming of the Messiah Jesus. The book of Revelation mention the very same battle in Chapter 20. Chapter 20 in the book of Revelation is chronological. And it states quite clearly that the Gog Magog battle will happen 1000 years after the defeat of the anti-Christ at the battle of Armageddon.

I have seen so many people read Ezekiel 38-39 without reading Rev 20:7-8, look at current events and get all worried that Russia and Egypt are about to attack Israel. The rapture, the antichrist, the tribulation, are doctrines spun by people that are not explicitly found in scripture, certainly not the Hebrew bible. The New World Order is the consensus of nations which come against Israel to take Jerusalem as an "international" city. And the burning of weapons may be a metaphor here, and not literal. We will not know until the time arrives. But the forces of evil will be destroyed, that is clear. Why litter the text with extra-biblical players?

This prophecy has nothing to do with the current state of the world. This describes the final battle at the end of the world of good against evil. Its the same battle as in Joel 3; Zeph. 1:7,14-18; Zech.14:1-3 and Rev. 20:7-15. It is called the Day of the Lord. It is the day of judgement. Gog is the Antichrist and Magog are all those aligned with him. Now we know that the Antichrist will be Jewish so this cannot mean Russia.
Excuse me, but the Hebrew bible does not say that the King Gog will be a Jew; that is your extra-biblical doctrine projected onto the text, not what the bible itself says. Stick to the script which was revealed by prophets, and stop all the weaving of fanciful speculative scenarios.

I disagree with your assesment of Ezekiel 38 and 39. These prophecies deal with the people who have been brought back from the dispersia. You must also be one who rejects the literal 1000 year reign of Christ on earth. Armaggedon is shown to be at the end of this Millenial reign of Christ, yet you are equating Ezekiels prophecy with Armaggedon, which cannot be, unless the Millenial reign of Christ is also not true.

This battle will happen 1000 years After the second coming of the Messiah Jesus. The book of Revelation mention the very same battle in Chapter 20. Chapter 20 in the book of Revelation is chronological. And it states quite clearly that the Gog Magog battle will happen 1000 years after the defeat of the anti-Christ at the battle of Armageddon.

I have seen so many people read Ezekiel 38-39 without reading Rev 20:7-8, look at current events and get all worried that Russia and Egypt are about to attack Israel. I have studied and with other prophetic teachers see two battles. Gog/magog is the first, it will be on the mountains of Israel and have 200 million man army, these will be Rusia and the muslem nations supporting her. They will be destroyed in the beginning of the Tribulations.
The second battle at the end of the Tribulations is called Armageddon, it will have all the armys of the world, this may be 500 up to as many as a billion man army. The blood will flow as high as the bridle of horse.

The rapture, the antichrist, the tribulation, are doctrines spun by people that are not explicitly found in scripture, certainly not the Hebrew bible. The New World Order is the consensus of nations which come against Israel to take Jerusalem as an "international" city. And the burning of weapons may be a metaphor here, and not literal. We will not know until the time arrives. But the forces of evil will be destroyed, that is clear. Why litter the text with extra-biblical players?

Also quite unfortunate is that you're not even using KJV and cross-reference it with the septuagint. This prophecy has nothing to do with the current state of the world. This describes the final battle at the end of the world of good against evil. Its the same battle as in Joel 3; Zeph. 1:7,14-18; Zech.14:1-3 and Rev. 20:7-15. It is called the Day of the Lord. It is the day of judgement. Gog is the Antichrist and Magog are all those aligned with him. Now we know that the Antichrist will be Jewish so this cannot mean Russia.

If Gog is the antichrist why does it say that Gog will be killed and burried? It says in 39:11 that Gog and his hordes will be burried in the Valley of the Travelers. Revelation says that the Antichrist is thrown ALIVE into the Lake of Fire.

Turkey (Meshech and Tubal) is only recently changing it's relationships to align itself more with Russia (Magog) and Iran (Persia). That's a lie. Christ and the apostles used the valley of Hinnom as a metaphor. The valley of Hinnom was a hellish place looooooooooooooong before greece existed as a league of city states. @goldchrist1 What was the point of view of the Church about what happend in WWII? They didn't say anything, just keeping all that to them, because they were against and they still against jews. And here Christianity have killed more than anyone, you cannot deny it.

@goldchrist1 Christianity is closer to Islam than Jewish. Other thing, you call it churches? But there weren't any Churches, there were only Temples. Because Christian picked up the pagan's temple to do it "churches" and they kept also some habits like Christmas and other facts. Muslims didn't attack those building and wars were always here between Religions. It is forbidden in Islam to get insults and lack of respect to other Religions. If you see a muslim doing that so he's not a muslim.

Do you know that in muslim countries they were advanced in culture, got more maths and experiments done than in Europe at that moment, because the Church was burning and terrifying people?! Are you trying to tell me that Muslims have killed two billion people... because I don't think there is any historical evidence to support anything even remotely similar to that... Not all Muslims are from the Fertile Crescent either... Islam actually originated in Saudi Arabia so again: swing and a miss. To your second ill-informed point, I personally am not Muslim- I just don't irationally hate others. I'm not entirely sure how 9/11 factors into 1/3 of the world being massacred

Even if you try to use the silly (Darby/Scoffield Dispensation) eschatology - you run into problem: Ez.38/39 is identical to the Gog/Magog war described in Rev.chapter 20. Bottomline - both take place exactly prior to the Final Judgement. This is also the case for the Day of the Lord described in Zecharia 12-14 and Isaiah ch.13. Missler/Hagee have badly misled many in their zeal.
