Hinata is such an awkward fighter. it seems like all his opponents get kind of weirded out by him or something. maybe it's the way he moves? who knows. if he cleaned his boxing up a bit he would probably do quite well. he also needs a good counter right hook which really helps if you're a southpaw.
it was a liver kick! he said he learnt it from katsunori kikuno the dream fight it works perfectly for southpaw fighters. also it completely legal to continue hitting your oponent until part of their body touches the ground
It seems like Hinata use his back leg as main weapon. His striking seems weak. This was first fight when I saw "only" one kick to groins from him. Kyshenko is more skilfull in tecnic; his sweeps are beautifull. Hinata use also his toes on body kick and it do more damage because of that. Thats why Kysenko should know better and keep his elbows litlebit lower. It is easy to say, thats why I said it.BTW it's ugly and against rules to kick another, when he is down.
i'm afraid all you gits crying foul are blind, the ball of hinata's foot hit right in the lower abs of kyshenko, the same spot i think hinata managed to get with a back kick in the opening minutes of the fight. back kick to that area fuckin hurts too.
yaa definitely a kick to the gentleman's region, even worse is its not like the guy didnt notice, theres a huge difference between kicking a person and kicking a piece of hard plastic. You can feel the difference. He was losing that whole round and just decided to end it by cheating. What an asshole.
@radseven89 First off, Kyshenko is clearly holding his stomach when he went down. Second, he never put his hands over his groin.
I saw Kyshenko getting kicked twice in a row to the solar plexus by Hinata. Why don't you try and search an article of Kyshenko's interview and what he had to say about this fight.
idiots ! the situation here at the end was that kyshenko rise up his arm for stoping the match (asking for time) , just to get straight his "balls protector" in that moment he is going down and then the kick of the Asian dude on the ground, and K.o. .. idiots you dont know about fighting rules...

@hytube999 He kicked kyshenko on the ground in k1 that IS illegal! Its the next Masato case....special treatment as the japanese know without a home grown champ K1 will fail, that is one of the worst fights i have ever seen
for those who even didnt tried to replay in the slow mode and started to speak about some toe push etc - 1 the foot was 90 degree at the end of the push while Artur was blocking from the high kick with the high block and the heel hit exactly to the groin level. 2 for those who decided that the ''toe kick to the abs" knocked Artur down - fuck off and go and train to a gym and try to knock someone down who has such abs like Artur with such kinda push with that toe.
@adgadgmt It's a karate crescent kick, not a Thai teep. You use the toes or ball of foot, and the foot is supposed to be perpendicular to shin. It's the only body kick with consistent knockout capability at the world-class level, but is riskier than a roundhouse because you can break your toes if if shin-blocked. Mostly used by southpaw karateka. Hinata, Lyoto Machida (former UFC LHW champ), and Kikunori Kikuno have all knocked down multiple fighters with it. See also: /watch?v=O04efC42gpw
someone needs to kick his balls off next match with a very hard kick and proceed with a knee to his dumb head so this bitch gets the same and think a little about the fairplay and the rules. wondering how the public could applaud for this
It seems like Kyshenko was kicked in the solar plexus and went down. I just felt that way because it didn't seem like he was complaining and he wasn't holding his stomach either. We'll have to see what he says in the interview if anybody could find one. Because he has no reason to lie about this.
hinata is a bitch and a dirty one. you fuckin noobs you dont know anything about rules.once he raised his hand the ref had to stop the match to see what happened.he kicked him in the nuts and then to his head and he wins??? omg the same thing happened with zambidis where he kicked him twice in the nuts.
@panoschr13 Yes, Hinata's fight with Zambidis was full of low blows. It was unfair for Zambidis, but not intentional; low blows frequently occur when an ortho puncher comes in on a southpaw kicker. In this fight with Artur, there was no low blow; Hinata landed hard two back kicks in rd 1, and a crescent kick to the liver in rd 3 for the KO. Artur was fine after the fight, and did not complain about the outcome. BTW, you can distinguish a low blow by the sound of the foot hitting the metal cup.
So many nOOb comments here! I mean, to the people that think this was a nutshot, are you fucking blind, or do you all have your balls hanging from your belly button?
The second kick was a little more shady, but to me it looked like it hit Kyshenko's shoulder, not his head. Still illegal I guess, but it didn't change the outcome of the fight.
@Elgmelking It's a kick called Mikazuki Geri in Karate. It's a type of kick where you purposely kick the solar plexus with your toe. What made me think it didn't land on the groin was because he wasn't holding his groin.
@3h4ever I didn't even have to do this but try pausing at 10:00 if you're having such a hard time seeing where the kick landed. Oh yeah, and look at where Kyshenko is holding when he's going down because he's obviously holding the stomach.
so much for all the always premature hype over a white fighter. i was into kyshenko...kyshenko got floored fair and square here.

PS. Souwer revenged kyshenko on the 18th of september
it wasnt a low blow. it was a liver kick. to hit the nuts u have to kick way lower than hinata did. whoever kicked on the nuts or have been kicked that knows what i am talkin about
Exactly right. Notice Hinaka got Artur in the exact same spot a moment earlier as well. Two kicks in a row in the same spot around the lower abdomen will drop most people.
I'm a big fan of Artur, but Hinata got this one. I don't agree with his follow up kick when Artur went down though. That was excessive.
@00grug I dont think the follow up was excessive. he was already launching it before Kyshenkos knees touched the floor. He had to get a KO or he would lose. He's lucky Kyshenko didnt get up. It makes me wonder if Kyshenko threw the fight. I know Hinata has that deadly toe kick but it didnt look like it landed. Hard to tell with this video though.
@00grug The ref already gave him a yellow card for kicking the groin! then Hinata pretended his eye was playing up? then if you pause at 9.29 within that second as I have you can clearly see Hinata's foot connecting with Arthur's groin guard, from his heel to almost his toes. I'm sorry but it seems unlikely it was due to a shot to the gut, I know first hand how much that hurts but the way his leg and foot are positioned it looks to me like another type of painful shot, the shot to the balls :o
@00grug I think it's penis kick, not liver kick, but no matter what it is. It seems like Kyshenko didn't get KOed from that kick, after the kick he could stand a little bit and raise his hand up, but after the second kick at his head when he's on the floor. That made him KOed and no standing up again.
@doraradoa1 That 'floor' is a sheet of canvas with soft stuffing underneath. The whole point of that is to avoid athletes taking damage from a fall, or knocking themselves out from a fall.
what did the trick was getting struck twice in the same spot. It even looked like it was the ball of Hinata's foot and not even his shin, which is even more painfull.
@doraradoa1 The KO kick was a "crescent kick" to the liver. The striking surface was the big toe, not the ball of the foot. It's a high risk technique because you can break your toe if you accidentally hit a shin or an elbow, but it's also very high return. Hinata used it to knock down opponents in other fights (eg, Andre Dida), and Katsunori Kikuno uses it in MMA to KO opponents. There was no groin kick; if there was, you (and the referee) would hear the sound of the foot hitting the cup.
He hit em with a cresent kick to the body, also called a Mikagetsugiri. I do think that the kick to Kyshenko after he was down was wacky...but it didn't seem to do too much damage so whatever, shit happens. It's a fight, adrenaline's pumping and people are running off of emotion.
Guys, This fight was under K-1 rules. Thats the Problem. And we have seen many shit even under K-1 Rules through the years, but even though that most of the time the refere did nothing to stop or just punish with a card the guy who did the illegal thing, its illegal. Its the organisations and the referees mistake, that they let something like this happen, wich is actually against their rules.
@itch28 No such thing as a fluke in fighting 100%. and AudienceKiller is right, like the first Karaev-Hari fight, that's not even illegal unless the referee stops the fight. hinata the next big thing
@akudoz And about the first Karaev - Hari fight, it was a big mistake from the referee what he did, or actually didn't do that day. That was also an illegal kick, thats why Hari was upset, so its not something what fans appreciate. The referee should have had gave Karaev a Yellow card for that and give 5 minutes of recovery to Hari. According to K-1 rules. So once again it is not allowed to kick you opponent while he is on the ground. Thats MMA.
Sorry assholes but that's not an illegal kick. You fight to the ref stops you, and that means you can kick people on the ground. Watch enough k-1 and you'll see it.
This isn't a proper thing in K-1. Believe me I watch enough K-1. And in this case, the referee already said stop, before the final kick, and even if the referee doesn't say anything, you cannot kick or attack someone who's on the ground, and Kyshenko was down, he went down, and Hinata kicked him after, and he did the same thing against Zambidis.
@Gyurat yeah, it happens in a lot of K-1 fights. I'm surprised people give such a shit in this fight. These people are some what knowledgeable I assume, so I'd think they'd have seen it before. I don't think it's a foul, cause I've never seen anybody get any kind of card or deduction of points. Though we do have to remember this isn't K-1 so we can't be too sure of the rules. Maybe not be the gentlemanly thing to do, but as long as the ref says nothing it's all-a-go.
@drotheill sorry dude but it is kyshenko's nuts...Japanese karate technique called Mikagetsu geri =crescent moon kick. it is the angle is around 40 degree not round house kick or front kick. and it landed on the abdomen of his body. Hinata the Japanese guy is a kickboxer but he went to seek Karate dojo to get more technique from karate master. so that he could throw variety of kicks.
I dont know what is happening to Kyshenko. In his last fights he seemed like he wasnt well trained or something. I look at his fight with andy souwe or the final of k1 max with Masato and I look at is last fight and I dont see the same Fighter. I just hope he turns back to normal and kick some ass in K1 2010.

@Lazyboy231 I don't like Hinata either and I don't like his style. But Hinata's left kicks hit Artur body square on about 6 or 7 times throughout the course of the fight - the last one went between Artur's arm and knee as he tried to block it (watch replay). The contact was made only with the foot and not the shin. Even though Artur was leading in points, I think Artur's liver was simply hit too many times.
Well done, it seemed Artur was having difficulties adjusting to the southpaw stance of Hinata even if he was leading on points... It wasn't a one kick knock out - those left kicks were adding up. If you watch through out the fight, he lands many well-timed left kicks (a southpaw's best weapon) into Artur's ribs/liver during the course of the fight..
The late kick is the normal reaction of any fighter when their opponent is going down - it didn't do any real damage.
@xxxxxUndisputedxxxxx yeah he beat Zambidis because he kicked him in the balls 3 times and while he was down he kicked in the head and the referee did nothing. Pretty manly right?
@Dimitric08 hinata fucked his rib and when he looked down his fighting instinct drove him to attack. its the refs job to prevent it. people always making excuses when a japanese guy beats a strong european fighter favoured to win. forget "bullshit japanese judging" this is a legit win.
that head kick scrabed across Arthur's back, wouldn't have done any damage. still dirty though, but that's Hinata, talented but no class what so ever.
This is again unbeliavable. Hinata kicked the guy in the head while he was on the ground. And the referee again did nothing. Hinata won his secound K-1 fight by brutal foul and the Japanise crowd just celebates him. Bravoooo
@Gyurat In Japanese kickboxing you fight till the referee stops you. That means you can attack them on the ground. Seen it in tons of fights. Guy drops a dude in the corner and blasts them with a knee to the face. Guy throws dude to the ground, throws soccer kick.
@Gyurat agree with the part he shouldn't have kicked kyshenko's head but refree did try to stop him. it is just refree's reaction was slow that is why it looks like he didn't do anything about it. Anyway, Kyshenko's is one strong fighter but Petrosyan would probably kill everyone so far. Petrosyan really destroyed bunch of fighters so I would say he probably would take another championship for K-1 max
@Gyurat watch again and with the beauty of youtube and a pause button you'll see he kicks him at the belly button, above the waistline.. and barely even connects on his kick to Kysh as he is going down.. not as he is down .. maybe dirty, but not illegal

what did the trick was getting struck twice in the same spot. It even looked like it was the ball of Hinata's foot and not even his shin, which is even more painfull.
Blahb27 5 months ago
@doraradoa1 The KO kick was a "crescent kick" to the liver. The striking surface was the big toe, not the ball of the foot. It's a high risk technique because you can break your toe if you accidentally hit a shin or an elbow, but it's also very high return. Hinata used it to knock down opponents in other fights (eg, Andre Dida), and Katsunori Kikuno uses it in MMA to KO opponents. There was no groin kick; if there was, you (and the referee) would hear the sound of the foot hitting the cup.
jeiteki 2 weeks ago
@doraradoa1 Also, if you pause at 10:00 you can clearly see in the slow motion replay that it was not a groin kick.

@deniskatashkentskiy

The kick was to his abdomen, not his "nuts", and the kick on the ground was completely irrelevant. Stop whining. 2

FreeFightRussia 1 year ago
He hit em with a cresent kick to the body, also called a Mikagetsugiri. I do think that the kick to Kyshenko after he was down was wacky...but it didn't seem to do too much damage so whatever, shit happens. It's a fight, adrenaline's pumping and people are running off of emotion.
JustinThoj 1 year ago
Guys, This fight was under K-1 rules. Thats the Problem. And we have seen many shit even under K-1 Rules through the years, but even though that most of the time the refere did nothing to stop or just punish with a card the guy who did the illegal thing, its illegal. Its the organisations and the referees mistake, that they let something like this happen, wich is actually against their rules.
Gyurat 1 year ago
I see a kick to the balls and another one to the head. both illegal...

DotaHelm 1 year ago
that's called a fluke!
itch28 1 year ago
@itch28 No such thing as a fluke in fighting 100%. and AudienceKiller is right, like the first Karaev-Hari fight, that's not even illegal unless the referee stops the fight. hinata the next big thing
akudoz 1 year ago
@akudoz And about the first Karaev - Hari fight, it was a big mistake from the referee what he did, or actually didn't do that day. That was also an illegal kick, thats why Hari was upset, so its not something what fans appreciate. The referee should have had gave Karaev a Yellow card for that and give 5 minutes of recovery to Hari. According to K-1 rules. So once again it is not allowed to kick you opponent while he is on the ground. Thats MMA.
Gyurat 1 year ago
Sorry assholes but that's not an illegal kick. You fight to the ref stops you, and that means you can kick people on the ground. Watch enough k-1 and you'll see it.
AudienceKiller66 1 year ago
@AudienceKiller66
Gyurat 1 year ago
@Gyurat yeah, it happens in a lot of K-1 fights. I'm surprised people give such a shit in this fight. These people are some what knowledgeable I assume, so I'd think they'd have seen it before. I don't think it's a foul, cause I've never seen anybody get any kind of card or deduction of points. Though we do have to remember this isn't K-1 so we can't be too sure of the rules. Maybe not be the gentlemanly thing to do, but as long as the ref says nothing it's all-a-go.

What the fuck , you can win with a kick to the nuts and a kick on the ground?
drotheill 1 year ago 15
@drotheill watch it again it's not to the nuts
ericssson 1 year ago
@drotheill sorry dude but it is kyshenko's nuts...Japanese karate technique called Mikagetsu geri =crescent moon kick. it is the angle is around 40 degree not round house kick or front kick. and it landed on the abdomen of his body. Hinata the Japanese guy is a kickboxer but he went to seek Karate dojo to get more technique from karate master. so that he could throw variety of kicks.
tobikodayon 1 year ago
@drotheill that wasnt a kick to the nuts.

BULLSHIT! Hinata put up a good fight, but the "KO", was a groin shot!!!! WTF????
fhauff 1 year ago
What? you gotta be kidding me!!! He kicked his balls and then when he was going down? i dont like hinata!!!
Lazyboy231 1 year ago
@Lazyboy231 I don't like Hinata either and I don't like his style. But Hinata's left kicks hit Artur body square on about 6 or 7 times throughout the course of the fight - the last one went between Artur's arm and knee as he tried to block it (watch replay). The contact was made only with the foot and not the shin. Even though Artur was leading in points, I think Artur's liver was simply hit too many times.
Artur was off his game for some reason...
joninberlin 1 year ago 2
Well done, it seemed Artur was having difficulties adjusting to the southpaw stance of Hinata even if he was leading on points... It wasn't a one kick knock out - those left kicks were adding up. If you watch through out the fight, he lands many well-timed left kicks (a southpaw's best weapon) into Artur's ribs/liver during the course of the fight..
The late kick is the normal reaction of any fighter when their opponent is going down - it didn't do any real damage.

Hinata's going to the top spot for sure, he beat Zambidis and Kyshenko, ballin'.
xxxxxUndisputedxxxxx 1 year ago
@xxxxxUndisputedxxxxx yeah he beat Zambidis because he kicked him in the balls 3 times and while he was down he kicked in the head and the referee did nothing. Pretty manly right?
Dimitric08 1 year ago
@Dimitric08 hinata fucked his rib and when he looked down his fighting instinct drove him to attack. its the refs job to prevent it. people always making excuses when a japanese guy beats a strong european fighter favoured to win. forget "bullshit japanese judging" this is a legit win.
redblazerpea 1 year ago
Nice fight, thanks for the upload.
1bigbuttlover 1 year ago
that head kick scrabed across Arthur's back, wouldn't have done any damage. still dirty though, but that's Hinata, talented but no class what so ever.
abeu 1 year ago 3
This is again unbeliavable. Hinata kicked the guy in the head while he was on the ground. And the referee again did nothing. Hinata won his secound K-1 fight by brutal foul and the Japanise crowd just celebates him. Bravoooo
Gyurat 1 year ago 24
@Gyurat
Looked more like it landed on the shoulder, but Kyshenko was done either way.
phil367153206 1 year ago
@Gyurat In Japanese kickboxing you fight till the referee stops you. That means you can attack them on the ground. Seen it in tons of fights. Guy drops a dude in the corner and blasts them with a knee to the face. Guy throws dude to the ground, throws soccer kick.
AudienceKiller66 1 year ago
@Gyurat
In Japan everything is possible.. Like we haven't seen this shit before in 2008/2009..
jeeweetje84 1 year ago
@Gyurat agree with the part he shouldn't have kicked kyshenko's head but refree did try to stop him. it is just refree's reaction was slow that is why it looks like he didn't do anything about it. Anyway, Kyshenko's is one strong fighter but Petrosyan would probably kill everyone so far. Petrosyan really destroyed bunch of fighters so I would say he probably would take another championship for K-1 max
tobikodayon 1 year ago
@Gyurat watch again and with the beauty of youtube and a pause button you'll see he kicks him at the belly button, above the waistline.. and barely even connects on his kick to Kysh as he is going down.. not as he is down .. maybe dirty, but not illegal
