@BangbangNyc12 To be honest w you, & this isn't me trying to be an asshole, watching videos can only go so far. If you really want to try out for your school team, or anyteam in general, find local training. For example since age 6 I balled. by the time i was in 9th grade I played city league, travel ball, jv and varsity & still every wed and sun between practice I went to a local skills group for 3 hrs per session. and when I wasn't doing any of that I was at a local gym practicing by myself.

speed + long wingspan is everything!! yes wingspan...which most people of african descent are blessed with! it gives you a HUGE advantage in dribbling, you can get past your defender a lot easier cuz 1st: the ball is closer to the floor so you're quicker with the ball and it's harder to steal it and 2nd: it's more ilusive if you're going t the right side with the ball and quicky switch to the left (crossover) with a long wingspan than if you do the same thing with a short wingspan..
