the sound of that Alpine is so bad!! I have my LS 2001 too, and I really hate the quality of sound, If I compare with my Volvo S60R sound, has no comparation! tha volvo's sound is the best!
@iivanTV stock is better then after market because they specialy set everything to max it out but when u mix and match different brands with aftermarket u dont get the same quality thats when you need to buy amps. to make them sound amazing just my opinion and though

ford, lincoln, mercury have the same radio :) they got great stock systems. mine is upgraded with 2 15". and i love that more!!
