My study conductor tried to explain 1914 to me about 40 years ago. After fifteen minutes of him flipping back and forth in the Bible he put the Bible down. He looked at me and said it would be easier to just look at the signs in the world and not try and explain how 1914 originated. That was back when they believed the generation was limited to the crowd that saw 1914 arrive. 1914 originated with the adventist movement in the 1800's. 607BCE was picked because it makes 1914CE work. TRUTH.

He taught his disciples to preach in Matthew 10. Matthew 10:14 tells them to go house to house. Matthew 24:14 says this good news of the kingdomwill be preached... before the end comes.
Jesus taught his disciples to make more disciples at Matthew 28:19,20,"Go therefore and make disciples..."
Jesus taught his followers to go from house to house. He wants more people to become disciples. Jehovah's Witness are following Jesus our Lord. The key problem with using the Bible is that it is just another book of mythology started in one very small corner of the world by a very small tribe.
Jehovah's Witnesses (along with others who buy into the bible being inerrant) are at odds with reality as we know it.
Did the Bible create the cars JW's use to preach, or science based on fact? Has a JW seriously studied evolutionary biology, biophysics, genetics, etc.?

Please know that i dont want to argue its all about the truth :). First Charles Russel is the founder of Jehovah witnesses. Did you know he was an spiritist? He read the bible by himself and made a religion out of what he thought was right. Watchtower and awake are misunderstanding the bible. You see a piece of gold and you hang yourself to it. What you dont know is that that gold is actually a rock that is painted. Make sure it is gold first. There is more about JW's they are keeping from you.

The 'wars' we are fighting right now are fairly insignificant compared to others. Iraq.. uh... what else... terrorism, drugs.. porn...
Lets not forget the good things we've seen recently: Womens' rights, longer life expectancy, less poverty, less starvation...
I bet you don't know who Norman Borlaug is. He's credited with saving over a billion lives from starvation. That's a better score than Jesus is running.

So in one breath Jesus predicts the end of times will be marked by 'wars and reports of wars' and in his next breath he says when nations are at peace the end will come.
Pretty nifty carrot he has over your head there - if there is peace, the end is near, and if there is war, the end is near.
Another question is, where are the earthquakes? The US Geological survey reports the number of earthquakes as unchanged for 170 years (with obvious cycles). I'm sure you'll find an apology for that too.

The ammount of earth quakes are the same. But people have moved closer to the active areas so there has been more sever earth quakes that effected man kind ( Like Tokyo) And alot of kingdoms allso falled ( symbolic earth quakes)
Jesus meant that the last day would be marked by war. And that the great tribulatiuon would be marked with a false shout of peace like in the 80s but bigger. And that harmageddon would be in the end of the great tribulation

Many other religious Christian groups are ALSO warning for the signs of the times, and yet they don't put their own organization in the place that only corresponds to Jesus,as mediator between God and Man, as the watch tower has done. So...if the organization and its publications are your main source of assurance that you are in the 'truth', and NOT the BIBLE ALONE, then you ARE in fact in a "control cult". The "REAL" truth is SO powerful in its own merit, that it does not need man made "aids"

The key problem with using the Bible is that it is just another book of mythology started in one very small corner of the world by a very small tribe.
Jehovah's Witnesses (along with others who buy into the bible being inerrant) are at odds with reality as we know it.
Did the Bible create the cars JW's use to preach, or science based on fact? Has a JW seriously studied evolutionary biology, biophysics, genetics, etc.?
Doing so just might help them realize just how few answers the bible has.

It is always interesting to see, when "secular dates" agree with JW dogma, they are quick to proudly state the concurrence. But when their dogma disagrees with well established facts, then those must be evil, secular, satanic facts that are meant to mislead! They really do pick and choose, as if history and science is a cafeteria or buffet.
