my dad had 1987 ford pickup. he had it till about 1999. then he bought a 1991 chevy 2500 5.7L V8 with a 5 speed manual. that last till about 2006. but the chevy had a lot of problems all though he kept up on regular maintenance. so in 2006 he bout a 2006 ford f-150 XL supercab long box with a 4.6L V8 with a 4 speed automatic transmission. and he hasn't had one single problem so far.

if you are buying a pickup truck go with ford. my advice.

Had a ford 4 years...had flats constantly, bent frame, oil leaks, gas leaks....in other words I got a DODGE and had it for 7 years and NEVER had ONE problem...Dodge is eating ford-shitting chevy...DODGE!

and they still have the worst ride they haven't changed and they still have the least amount of sales. by the way maybe if you take a little extra care of your tucks maybe you wont have as many problems with them keep in mind ford is still leading in the sales

There certainly are a bunch of nice trucks out there but the ever increasing price of fuel will deter a lot of folks. Personally, I could care less with all the fancy interior electronics. I'd much rather see more effort in the fuel saving improvements while maintaining the truck's ability to tow and carry decent payload.

This video only goes of the interior. 1 MPG better, and it tows more, now understading that dosen't seem like much Ford will also update the engine in 2010 for even better MPG.

Besides, it all adds up.

theres a vid on here of an F150 lariat 4x4 on here gettin 20mpg @60. its possible, but you have to drive very fuckin carefully lol. no quick stops, no hard acceleration, stay in one lane, and coast whenever possible. too much to worry about if you ask me.

Escallade ext have 403 hp

Tundra have 380 hp........

And ford f-150 and lincoln mark lt have the old motor with 300hp

5.4L = Boooooo. I have an 07 F-150 and a new motor is needed.

Ford 5.4L = 300hp

Tundra 5.7L = 381hp
