i dont think this was an attack on nastia... i think it is just an inspirational video to people in gymnastics who feel they are never perfect. i think it helps to see that even the best of the best can't be flawless.
i agree with NlovewithNaley... eh there is no such thing asd a gymnast that is perfect in every single way, everybody falls and makes mistakes but that is how u learn :) by the way didnt nastia win the individual all around @ olympics. well she is way way way better than me :)

Umm..she doesn't always have hops on beam. Her beam at the 2008 PacRim and the Olympics all-around were almost virtually perfect (despite some slow connections and crossed legs on the dismount). She nailed the landings there.

thats kinda what i think. I mean sure, shawn has more skills and power, but Nastia carries, like you said, the grace and beauty that lacks in gymnastics nowadays. :)
@GGTCGymnast Shawn Johnson is more of a power gymnast where Nastia is an artistic gymnast but to be honest they are both amazing but i like Shawn more because im a power tumbler myself!
Is it me, or does Nastia have quite long feet? I've seen them in several videos featuring her and I've seen close ups where she's having her ankle strapped. I'm not being nasty, I'm just curious if anyone knows if she does have longer than normal feet?
ahah yeah I think so, her feet are quite long but I find them absolutely GORGEOUS exactely like all her lines! look at the way she stretches her whole feet and toe point!! that's amazing! I prefer MUCH MORE her feet than shawn's, who's got shorts feet and she doesn't stretch them at all.
@lanpingpug depends on what you consider normal, her arms and legs are long too, she's built like her mom. Some people say that Shawn Johnson is built like a boy, no curves whatsoever, does that make her abnormal too?

the thing is she is different in all 4 apparateses!!
floor : no where near perfect becase in the video most of these are floor! (Or all of them)!!
bars: near perfect but always has mistakes
best eventever and is just awesome!! love her on bars! She came a long ways since 2002!
beam: pure beauty but never sticks landing but always have hops. Not the difficulty of shawn johnson but pure beuty

her bars performance in the teams at beijing 08 was worthy of a 10 on the old scoring. she got a 16.9, and it was brilliant to watch
she got ripped off in the individuals though, there shouldve been a better system in place for equal scores :(
