It was sad to see Kirk go. He played until the end. You wouldn't have thought he was diagnosed with cancer. I saw him play right before he passed away. He was a great show putter oner. Great video.
Kirk was diagnosed with throat cancer a while back. When they operated they saw it spread, inoperable. They gave 2-6 months. he decided to fight it by doing what he loves, rocking. they extended their last tour for a few more shows. Check their site news --> recent press for more info.

kinda a bit slower than normal.
I am headed up to lawrence to see them tomorrow for their last home show before retiring.

It was in 2004. I think the fact they were one man short affected their set list. Are they retiring or are you retiring?
