  • I have been on it 2 years, and I'm afraid to stop. If I forget or don't take it for one day, I start feeling sad/depressed/anxiety and quickly grab a pill to make it go away. I want to quit, but I know I won't.

  • i dont care what any one tells me. dont take this medicine. youll be feelin high n mighty but as soon as you stop taking it its a hell of a trip. it showed me that you dont need shit to make you feel better; body begins going crazy after you stop, all kinds of wierd shit. i dont even see how i stopped it. its been about 3 weeks and still feel as shit, havent even told my doc lol bet he'd be pissed. but jesus anxiety came back and everything.. fuck man fuk it

  • You remind me of myself. I started paxil over a month ago. I'm supposed to move up to 25 mg within the next two weeks. I have heard so many negative things about it and I am just wondering how the drug is working for you if you're still on it. Also, you're really beautiful.

  • @masterpsychosis I'm currently prescribed Paxil 20mg, my first dose I had felt "normal" and since then every other dose I haven't felt that way although it has only been a week.

  • You are so entertaining! I loved your road rage story, Batman is my favourite too.

  • in the future keep your speech ready in advance, focus on your point . do some homework . your video is not up to the mark.

  • you have the best personality over youtube, the way you hold your cigar, your hair, the bony cheeks when you're talking, you have an argentinian kind of girl belive me.

  • Paxil sucks now Prozacs is where it's at thank god for antidepressants

  • paxil sucks. pls try to stay awat from it. and good luck!

  • I love love love your hair!

  • youuu seriously are gorgeous..i'm so in love. :)

  • paxil works for me so far. I've been taking it for a few years....let me know if you are still taking it....just curious, the comments below are somewhat biased, but none the less, scary.

  • You're lucky, I lost someone I loved, they put me on paxil, and it almost killed me. I'd have nightmares every night, I was numb to emotion most of the time, I was numb to touch, I'd have bouts of extreme depression and suicidal tendencies then I'd be numb again.

I didn't realize how much it slowed my mind down, how much less intelligent it made me, until I winged myself off of it. Maybe you have a chemical disorder that it actually treats, I didn't, I had situational depression.

  • doubt it...you sound like you have no creative outlet and rely on the energy of others to flourish. Find hapiness in solitude amigo, and the your depression will be cured. I took paxil for anxiety, increased heart rate, unable to breath, and I took an IQ test last week scored about 145, so unless i was smarter than einstein before, It didn't phase me. Try reading and working your mind more.

  • My depression was caused by the loss of a loved one, I didn't need fucking paxil to treat it. The pills caused me extreme nightmares and random bouts of intense emotional anxiety, most of the time it simply made me numb.

If you actually have a chemical imbalance maybe the drug helps you, maybe the problem isn't the drug but the doctors who hand it out like candy to people who clearly don't have a chemical imbalance.

As for your IQ, some of us are just naturally smarter than others IMO.

  • so your depression was caused by your neurosis, you felt like you lossed a loved one, because you fear death.....once again there is no such thing as a chemical balance....everyone is born drastically different, a person with no depomine could be happier than someone with more, the chemicals do not equate to other people, the chemicals and balance are relative to yourself, and not absolute things...that is why neuroscience is limited, you are confused, read a book, your depression will fade.

  • Yes because the self is a magical entity that exists in some astral realm beyond the physical mind. That's why drugs can effect how you think and alter your personality, that's why brain damage can alter personality and memory.

Look you heartless fuck (does the paxil make you this way?), I lost someone I loved and I was depressed. Most people would be. I didn't need drugs. I didn't have a chemical imbalance, I had situational depression.

  • I'm not heartless you fool, you didn't lose shit, open your eyes, do you really think death is the end?

  • Ok first of all you snide little punk, even if death isn't the end I can still never hold her in my fucking arms again. Second there's not a single god damn reason for me to believe a person can suvive without some kind of physical mind.

  • I call it a neurosis, because you do not have the information to conclude wheather death is an end or begining, loss, or gain, you only act on yoru feelings, pretenidng to know something which is not your place to know.

  • Take any other AD just stay clear of paxil!

Friendly advice (took paxil for 5 yrs).

Biggest fuckin mistake of my life, and I'm

    still paying for it.

  • I'm gald the Paxil helps - people need to my their own business and not tell other people what they should and shouldn't take...some people need these meds - I had a friend jump off the Newport bridge because someone told him that he shouldn't take his anti-d's...nuff said.

  • Hypersensitivity, hyperconscienceness, hypochonria....all signs that lead to Paxil use.

  • Run away from this drug, please dont be another victim.

  • you look kinda cute..anyway,paxil(seroxat) is like a dam tempering a wild river(supressing emotions)stop taking it is like blowing up the dam, resulting in a flood (emotional overload)causing chaos and destruction to your surroundings (and/or yourself,I mean it..

I was on this stuff for about two years (occasionally stopped taking em resulting in a innabillity to release tensions, thinking about dying a lot,and a tremendously annoying habit of shivering my legs(not able to sit still ever since.

  • check your message box swear

  • stop it before it's too late...

  • how will i know when it's "before it's too late"? so far it makes me less of a zombie than other things i've tried. feedback?

  • Be careful with the paxil! It will turn you into an emotionless zombie before you know it, and the withdrawal is no fun!

  • can you explain? i've tried some other meds and paxil makes me less zombified than some of the others. with time does it change a lot?

  • @swearergirl it doesnt make you emotionless, different people have different effects

  • @swearergirl with time it no longer has the same effect, u become zombie like and not happy or sad

and thats after a year or so. then try getting off em if u manage to ur anxiety will be worse than it ever was before meds you shuld never have started on such a high dose either

    this drug is dangerous.

  • @swearergirl

Well, Effexor is a bit better, but antidepressants are addictive, once you stop taking them, things are going to get bad and you will have the withdrawal side effects, and it won't be good at all, this form my own experience as a Paxil user.
