Good luck. Boucle is such fun - biggest problem I've had is with hooks on flyer being too small. I have traded them out on one of my wheels for "cup hooks" and have the "Woolie Winder" which really is great for this stuff. Same for core spun (need to do that video) - -
Labor intensive but fun. Take your time and enjoy the journey. GREAT yarn for accents - Ruthie
It is beautiful and inspiring! I had never even thought of making boucle, but now it is my next project;) Wonderful job you have done. Thank you very mcuh for sharing.
Fascinating demo! I've never tried boucle, but I might after watching this. I do think the yarn catching on the hooks would probably drive me nuts, though. But it would be fun for a small bit of yarn. Your painted roving is beautiful by the way, and yes, definitely wild! Great video, thanks.
I also have a jensen wheel, It is the jensen upright. I will have to try this yarn! I wonder what it will do with my bunny fiber(angora). also have alpaca and alot of otheres, im anxtious to see how it all turns out, May even try some hand dying. Thank You for sharing.
I'm sure glad I bought Lendrum wheel. It doesn't have bobbin hooks to tangle up in! I want to try this yarn style soon! I've been spinning for a month and a half, and been having a ball!
Thank you so much for this demonstration.

thank you for the kind words. Fancy yarns are fun to do, even if they are a PIA (Pain In the A**) to do.

I am so glad I bought a Lendrum wheen. I rarely get caught up on the movable clip!
Looks pretty straightforward to make boucle. I want to try!
