@yerinable You can use whatever you want, but keep in mind R01 is a pink tone and E50 is a yellow tone, so it might look weird.

@jamesanthonygrainger Well the other option is to upload them all on the same day and not upload anything for 3 months. But I'm not going to do that. I filmed them in advance because it's too hard to film here because I have three roommates and never get quiet alone time. Uploading them all at once would be a stupid idea.

Great video again zkittyz, thanks for sharing! =] I have most of these skin tones, so I may come back to see your combinations again, I always seem to use the lower earth tones, E0000, E000, E00, E01 and E02. But I want to start experimenting with others in the near future, mainly darker ones like E34 - Orientale, which I love but even darker too.

how do you blend with eoo and e02? those were my first 2 skin colors, and my character always looked really sunburnned.

@yerinable Alwasy blend with the lightest colours, like E000 or E0000.

@ItsAlandorAnderson Get a set of Copic Ciaos if money is tight. If not, go with Sketches and get a set. It works out cheaper in the long run. I buy single Copic Sketch markers though as I want to have the colours that I really like and not a tonne of greys like most sets seem to come with (although they're useful too!)

Anyone know of some place where one could find swatches like these but for Corel Painter or Photoshop? I would like to have palettes with "proper" colours because I'm colourblind (red green) and really need all the digital help I can get to make stuff seem at least somewhat right when colouring. Found some palettes for things, but they are mostly just matching colours. Colour sets, or whatever one would call them, that look good together.. A bit useless. Really need skin colours.

A good idea for blush is to use watercolor pencils because they blend and wash out nicely when you put marker over it. Also crackle FTW!

Promarkers! :) They are around £1.50/ $2.50 a marker. :3 They are from Letraset. I use them some-times even though I use Copic more often, they work really well!

Awsome vid :D I use E0000, E000,E00 for skin and then R00 & R20 for blush but I've recently started putting RV11 around the eyes, It looks really nice :)

I don't own a lot of copics so I do a combo. I first lay down light shading with my copic (I don't have them with me right now so I don't know the numbers). Then I color the skin in with colored pencils. Then shade with colored pencils. Then I use a darker copic. And finally a violet color. :)
