I love manual trans but no human will ever shift faster then a computer. It is just not possible. If you have a daily driver or weekend warrior then a manual is perfect for you. @EVILWS666 Actually manuals are quicker. It's all about the difference in gear ratios. Alot of the late model Auto Camaro and Firebirds had 2.73 gears(which looks like what yours has) in the rear for gas mileage. Manual transmissions have closer gear ratios than autos which better keep the engine in the powerband, not to mention the much lower 3.42s in the 6spd help takeoff about .5 in the quarter.
