It's funny that this is the stuff that got them signed, and their current sound is so different. Listening to this, I would never think something like their second album could come from the same people. I like their current sound better though and Congratulations is my favorite album from them, I think Siberian Breaks has to be my favorite MGMT song..

I think it's a pity to only like their old songs, because their last album "Congratulations" is really amazing and it express all their feelings about their old and commercial songs like "Kids" and "Time to pretend" : they have changed a lot and I believe they have "grown up".

"Kids", "Time to pretend" and "Electric feel" was on the radio and makes them "cool" but they didn't expect that.

But, of course you have the right to like the songs you want to like :)
