@tigercubgurlie It may not be Japanese at all. This song could be nonsense words that sound similar to Japanese. If this was done in nonsense words by an English speaker, the Japanese players would probably all be wondering if it actually meant something. For sure, the lyrics Gaepora gives us, even the first verse, would never fit in the lines Zelda sings.

Hyrulian isn't hylian. Hylian's is a race that speaks hylian, hyruleans come from the city hyrule.

@zebbe996 Hylian is a race, but they aren't the only ones that speak the language. There's several humans in Hyrule that communicate perfectly with Hylians.

There's no such thing as "City Hyrule". It's the Hyrule Castle Town, and it's named that way because it stands near the Hyrule Castle, not because that's the name of it's citizens. Hyrule is the whole kingdom, including the Faron, Eldin, Linayru, Desert and Snow regions.

@ZeldaFanatic031 Hylian is not really completely designed like Klingon or (to an extent) Galach. In most of the games from the series Hylian is nothing more than some made up gibberish. In Twilight Princess however, Hylian is basically identical to the English language. At the first glance it looks not at all like it is the Latin alphabet, if you look closely however you'll see that the Hylian letters in Twilight Princess resemble Latin letters.

The few spoken parts are gibberish though.
