The problem is Bjork stretches artistic boundaries. Therefore, one needs a certain artistic knowledge or code to understand this music. Without this a person feels like it is just noise or is out of key. It's like somebody turning up to an atonal concert for the first time - it just sounds like noise. However, the person who can appreciate the aesthetic merits is the lucky one. People who don't understand something often fear it and can become angry.
