  • This is the most original album of the 80s. Hands down.

  • This song is power and melodic genius...with a great lyric to boot. My favorite Queensryche album...and Geoff's voice was in top form.

  • Queensryche will always be the best band in the world...In my own opinion,

  • ooops meant learning.

  • you cant keep me from leerning, im human....

  • for 1986 it is way ahead of it's time.

  • How much "guilt" has Neil Kernon in this masterpiece? Cause imo the never sounded better than this.

  • '86 'Ryche = Postmodern prophets.

  • This album made me a better musician.

  • WARNING and RAGE FOR ORDER are so gooood

  • I think this is a little better than "Wot We Do". What do you think?

  • @QRRQ2

hmm... yeah! At least they played this live when I saw them the other day

  • 0 people are douchebags... nice!

  • This album is great.

  • This song is awesome done live with NM-156 preceding it. Excellent show.

  • one of the most under-rated songs of the album. it's close to perfect

  • Amazing song from an amazing band... Why the hell did this song not start off an entire "Synth Metal" firestorm?!! *Reads the rest of the comments* Oh, I guess this song was ahead of it's time.... Now why aren't there any more Metal bands out there that make use of synthesizers?!!

  • IM NOT YOUR SLAVE...U CANT KEEP ME FROM DREAMING...

  • Definitely an underrated album. Way ahead of it's time, with the industrial / metal sound.

  • No one can hear when your screaming in digital.

  • MY FAVORITE BAND RYCHE ON DUDES

  • @Seluu1 ?

  • 2 best voices of 80's...... geoff tate,and ky hanson....keep it metal!!!! \m/

  • The Ryche will always rule!!!!!!

  • i hear this all the time....underated....before its time, this is my favorite album, tape. CD, MP3, what ever, every song amazes me to this day, the boys from bellevue rock!!!

  • When this came out I tried to get everyone I knew into it. Told them all that

it was 20 yrs ahead of its time....lol.

Nobody listened to me so I had to enjoy it all be myself....lol

    I still enjoy it !!!!!

  • i agree with both of you, Queensryche has become over time, my all time favorite band

  • I saw this shit live when it was released!!! It fucking ROCKED!!! Still does!!!

  • enur requiem; ryche is so incredible. truly a powerhouse band! thanks for the music!

  • theyre best album

  • It's better than mind crime!

  • ".... I am the beat of your pulse...the cmputer word made flesh..."

  • This album funckin' rocks!

  • usually genius is never understood in its own time. I listen o queensryche albums 20 years later and I think i understand them better today than when they came out. Some of the lyrics warning against corruption of the mind and soul through advanced technology, and the manipulation of the corporate government is amazing, How could they have known how accurate it would be today..........great art says I

  • @cavecandle31 Yeah, I've always appreciated their message, but maybe that's because Take Hold of the Flame was the first song of theirs I really, REALLY listened to. I absolutely love it when a band is more than just the music, and Queensryche has always been the best in my book!

  • @cavecandle31 i couldn't agree more cave thanks for making that known

  • @cavecandle31 People have no idea how radical Chris DeGarmos' guitar work and songwriting are. Not to mention Geoff Tates' vocals.

  • @RycheRageForOrder Yeah, you should'v heard my brother at one point. He said Queensryche was mediocre at best. If mediocre means little in areas at best, then he has little idea how great these guys were, at least for Empire, Rage for Order, OMC, and maybe a couple of other albums as well. I mean, in contrast of most Bassist's, Eddie Jackson is probably one of the best, if not No.1. Michael and Chris were great guitarists. Geoff of course, beastly vocals.

  • @drmattisinthehouse Yup, the Ryche we're the first progressive metal band and crush Floyd, Dream Theater. & Rush in songwriting, guitarwork, and vocals.

  • @RycheRageForOrder And to top it off, I think they still hold the record for longest Touring made ever. 18 months I believe. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure the Ryche made that record in music history.

  • @drmattisinthehouse Iron Maiden held the record during the Powerslave tour. Now Arrowsmith's Nine Lives Tour (May 8, 1997 - July 17, 1999) 204 holds the record. Rage For Order is up there with Operation Mindcrime.

  • @RycheRageForOrder Well Queensryche is still a great band, and I disagree with alot of people who say otherwise. That and because they aren't constructively criticizing Queensryche. Now constructivr criticizm, is a different story though.

  • @drmattisinthehouse Yup, the Ryche are the most underrated operatic, progressive metal band ever!!

  • @cavecandle31 So far ahead of their time "And we wonder how machines can steal each others dreams from points that are unseen ... it's real" "You will find that your dreams are only program cards ... " a glimpse of the future ... prophetic to say the least.

  • Kinda industrial, which l hate. But like Queensryche, so I'll give 'em more of a chance.

  • @xxxhentaikingxxx the boys from Bellevue ROCK!!! period.

  • @strayspark1967 You got that right.

  • Changed my life at the time, 1980+ incredible music and underated. nothing that compairs to this now!

  • awesome thank ya

  • This is an incredible song - the climax to this awesome concept album. The dual vocal lines during the choruses... chilling and ingenious.

  • I couldn't have said it better myself, Coldarkstare! Rock on, intelligent men of Queensryche

  • one of the greatest bands of all time and a very under rated album (seemed it could have been before its time) thanks for posting

  • @coldarkstare much agreed, i listened to this album over and over when i t came out. am a deathmetal head now, but this is still the shit to me .

  • @coldarkstare rage for order is a great album and queensryche is a great band with one of the most amazing singers in the world
