My whole family is christian and I was a christian until I used logic. I'm sorry but I think god is a delusion, the bible is man made and comes from the bronze age, and I think it's astronomical that people believe in it. Many times I think people who grow up with parents who R overzealous about any religion can decide to turn against it just because personal freedom was restricted growing up. But anyway, the Bible is not immoral and to say so is very very misguided. Vicarious redemption? dont know what that is supposed to be, but I believe in and know Jesus personally and am glad for it. The two other scritures that are oviously part of this event is John 14:1-3 When Jesus tells His disciples and us who are reading His word and discerning it properly that He is preparing us a place in His Father's house in heaven. He says He will come and recieve us to Himself so that where He is (in His Father's house) we may be also. Then the other scripture is 1 Corinthians 15:51 and of course there are others.

The word Rapture is not mentioned in the bible but the event is definitely real. The rapture is a mystery. For anyone who knows the Bible, It is obvious that Harold Camping does not know it. Anyone who knows what the Bible says about the rapture also knows that it is wrong to predict the date that it will happen.
