Oh MAN!!! I totally didn't notice that you are a lefty, but you play like I do! Most lefties reverse their kit, but since there are other right-handed drummers at my church, I had to learn it in the right-hand configuration. I have never really seen anyone else play this way. lol

helped me alot cuz i play open handed to...but then again i play this song so much on sundays. i start the beginning instead of the hihats i use the rim of the snare to make a clicking sound...they use that in a different verson but eh idk i like to mix it up lol.

As one 55 year old drummer with 51 years practice, this is an excellent way to help other drummers learn how to cover the percussion styles of other players. In this case, Hillsong. Might I suggest positioning an overhead cam and another for the kick drum. You could then edit in a small window showing the kick sequence in one corner of your video. Steve Howe, a guitarist of YES fame has made "instructional" videos on YouTube of his work that shows both hands on the guitar. God bless you, bro!

I think that to us it sounds bad but during a worship set at like a retreat or praise nite it would sound good to just keep something going during the quiet times... of course just vocals sounds great too. personally i like doing something small =D. Good job keep playing.

I dont know particlarly loads about drums, but I can tell that this guy is absolutely brilliant. He never appeared to be uncomfortable about the effort he was making, he didnt overdo it (It IS possible with Hillsong, and you do see actual hillsong musicians overdo it in concert although never hillsong united) and it all came out with an excellent effect. well done.
