  • I can't tell if your trying to do a backhandspring or back tuck. If a back tuck you need to set more and bring in your knees a little more and you'll have it. Just keep your arms up for a second and look for something on the wall before you go back , then try and kick your chest. Also, it may be easier if have a harder surface to jump off of. I always get mine on the gym floor but cant as easily on competition mats, grass, and carpet (: Hope I helped!

  • When you do your backtucks you just need to tuck more and go UP! it helps SO MUCH! tucks are much different than backhandsprings because you dont go back and arch as much so set up and tuck

    Because you tumble more like a cheerleader.

    They have different techniques.

  • When you did your "backtuck", you put your hands down, you need to work on that.

    and if u are doing a "backtuck" i suggest yoou tuck ur knees in ..hold tthem, and set high

  • good job you need to set your tucks up first but i loved the backwalkover into the splits it was very good and clean

  • that was good, but on your tucks, u need better flooring or ur gonna end up in physical therapy like i was...and also you need to jump straight up, then back, which plays into better flooring. tucks require stomach muscles also so you can pull your legs in fast! but your back walkover split was lovely, and who cares if it was fast, i do mines fast too, then i get yelled at my mom to do it over.....T_T....atleast your mom wasn't one of you coaches! loooool

  • your trying to do a standing back layout... its like, virtually impossible..

    u need to tuck more AND PRACTICE ON PROPER FLOORING! i broke my wrist doing gymnastics on a hard floor just going into a tumble series, and ive had to have pins... so you have to be careful!!

    good job though, your getting there!! KEEP IT UP!

  • back walkovers are kind of the same as back bend kick overs you start with ur cartwheel leg in front instead of both of ur legs together then u do a backbend and kickover with the leg in front when u get that you can start with ur leg at a higher position

  • heyy good job just try setting up more on your back tucks like pick something to focus on on the wall so u keep your head up and then once you get to the highest point you can jump to tuck and pull ur legs and stay tight also try to swing back and up instead of just throwing your arms back that should perfect your back tuck! :]
