what chords is he playing during the chords? i know its D.. but he plays it differently... like the D right before A. for the chorus.. can anyone please tell me?
i'm not sure wht you mean. do you want to get a better sound out of the guitar via effects, or do you want to get a better sound from the guitar itself.
If I wanna do it via effects then I should either get reverb pedals or delay pedals rite? But if I wanna get it out of the guitar itself... Hmmm... What would u suggest?
if you want better tone out of the guitar without buying pedals, i would look into the emg-sv pickup set. you really can't go wrong with emg's. they're active pickups, so there's barely any noise. (they run about 220 for the three pup set.)
or you can go the pedal route (i'm all about pedals.)
i'd look into a couple of different overdirve pedals, a delay (and a reverb if you want one,) a modulation pedal, and a tuner (if you don't arleady have one.)
my current board consists of a ts9 tubescreamer, a boss dd6 digital delay, a boss super chorus, a bass overdrive pedal (i use it as a boost to fatten up my teles tone,) and a boss chromatic tuner. next up is a fulltone fulldrive 2 (a lot of the younger worship guys have them. they're really good overdrive pedals,) a line 6 dl4 digital delay, a barber tone press, and the boss reverb pedal.
some people swear by the holy grail reverb pedal, but i really like the boss pedal better. it's smoother. the barber tone press is a a lot smoother than any other compressor/sustainer pedal. you can set it up for a harder compression, but when it's set lower it sounds better than any other pedal i've heard. it's an awesome pedal. the line 6 dl4 is a lot more versatile than the dd6 delay. the giga delay is nice too, but i've never used one, and i know how easy the dl4 is.
most likely... but test the guitar itself,, if u like the tone,, u will definitely get it... if u have money,,, it's also a good choice that can also be used in this song..
For me bro?? Fender Stratocaster.. so versatile and has a perfect toe for many things.. don't get me wrong.. for me a telecaster rocks but the strat is the best... still it depends oin your preference for tone.. strat has a fatter tone used for many genres.. the tele can also be used at certain genres and has a bright tone especially used for rock, blues and country..
it really depends on your gear. if you've got a proco rat or a full drive 2 you can get some pretty heavy tones out of the tele single coils.
i'm personally a tele man. if you look at a lot of the new younger generation of guitarists in worship bands, you'll see a lot of teles. look at jad gillies from united. he uses a les paul standard... and a fender tele. amerian. ash. beautiful guitar. he plays through a mesa boogie dual rectifier and a matchless. he's also got an ac30 now. his pedals/amps
are what give him his tone. (don't get me wrong guitars are important, but pedals are equally important.) his pedal rig consists of a MXR MicroAmp, MXR Dynacomp, Dunlop Original Wah, Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive,
two Ibanez Tube Screamers (TS9), Rocktron Hush, Ernie Ball VP Jnr, Boss TU2 (tuner), two Boss DD5s (delays) one set on a triplet delay the other on quarter note, Dunlop Tremolo, Zvex Super Hard-on, 2x Custom Audio Japan power supply.
like i said.. it's you... what you hear better for the song its better for you.. and for me the Strat would be it... I don't want to offend others but it really depends on someone who really likes the tone of that certain guitar.. if it's a Les Paul, it's a Les Paul for you and of course others as well but for me.. it's the strat,,,
depends what form of blues i would say :). some prefer hollow body, some strats, and some les pauls. although the sound is all on the person and what feeling hes trying to get across :D. to each his own indeed
aside sa meaning ng song, favorite ko toh dahil sa guitar.. super galing, haha
