Read "Freedom Betrayed" by George Nash before saying US did nothing to Japan. The book shows how Herbert Hoover was criticizing Roosevelt for cornering Japan into the War so US can attack Germany. He supports his arguments with an abundance of first class US recently declassified documents. BTW, after the occupation MacArthur said Japan started the war for self-defense. If you want to talk about justice, at least make an effort to get information from both sides.

He supports his arguments with an abundance of first class US recently declassified documents. BTW, after the occupation MacArthur said Japan started the war for self-defense. truman never laughs about dropping that bomb. That is part of the false facts you liberal marxist sympathizers like to state. In reality Truman served as a Field Artillery battery commander in WWI. He saw the devastation of land warfare at its worse, he was a simple country politician who wanted the horrible war to end. He made a big decision and he war ended. To his credit he fired MacArthur. I believe MacArhur may have been strategicallly right, but as a soldier, insubordinate.

@NobodysBabyGirl3 No buddy here is happy about it, but when six or seven allied armies invade the home islands, with the preparatory bombardments and bombings on a massive scalse similar to those of normandy, the body count in innocent civilians, children, and infants will be considerably higher. A 16" shell is as heavy as a car and can leave a hole in the ground large enough to drop a tank, not to mention fragmentation and concussion. Think, it was kinder.

The bombing wasn't in my class,because I learned about Japan but no bombing.I don't know why I didn't so I thought,Why not search the bombing on youtube?I found it here and I can't beleive the japanese laucnhed an unexpected bomb on Hawaii.They weren't even in WAR for crying out loud!The reason they bombed us is to test their military's might.Not to start war.Plus an atomic bomb is like a nuclear bomb meaning it can blow up the whole earth if not used correctly.That is all I know about it.

Ten years before Pearl Harbor, almost, we were negotiating with the Japanese to get out of Manchuria, which they had invaded, they occupied Korea since 1909, Japan raped Nanking and the day after PH they invaded the Phillipines and Malaya. Need to get out from underneath the fruit tree and see the War in the Pacific for what it was: "Asian enslavement by Japan".
