So I am in the same boat as you were. I am currently a teacher and want to do something in the technology reviewing industry. how did you get started? Ironically enough i live in the bronx so it sounds like we are running similar paths, hopefully i can get near where you are now.

the things he said around the last minute of the video is something i used to always say. it makes no sense. without teachers we wouldnt have the things we have, know the things we know, or work in the field we work in which gives all the more reason why teachers should be one of the top paying careers in the country dont u think....

Teachers are amazing we as individuals wouldn't be where we are if it weren't for dedicated teachers.Socitey needs to market this profession to our generation along with doctors/nurses etc as careers that are not only beneficial to socitey but the engine of our world.They all are connectors and sadly in this country it doesn't PAAAYYY and it's not a respected profession. I am in my 20's and couple of my friends end up leaving they were making 25K with a Degree & living in NYC.

dude my mom has 3 degrees in teaching including bachelors,master,specialist went to college for almost 10 years and still make under 75k. Dont teach its a waist of time And money. invest your time doing something else.

I know, that is why I said it is imperative for society to present teaching in a new form that young people will want to do it b/c it is NOT a Lucrative profession. If they pay great teachers over 120K + incentives + bonuses, maybe they can entice people to be more interested in teaching. Your mom + my mom will never be fully compensated for their work however their work is beyond measure. Your mom have a passion for teaching & that in & of itself is commendable. I thank your mom for serving

Lol I didn't know that you were a teacher...but I work at a school now and everything you're saying is true, beyond true, and it's a shame because teachers put in soo many hours...and sometimes more involved in a childs life than the parents. I love children but just like you said I don't think I have that dedication...I commend teachers for what they do it is not an easy task.

Ah, ha! You used to teach. That explains your like-ability quite a bit. I agree that it's completely unfair how undervalued teachers are in this country - especially when you consider the focus/value education plays in the media, elections, and most importantly, our economy. Education is one of the critical pathways to a successful economy.

very nice noah, i enjoy these kind of insightual videos. my mother happens to be a teacher and not i do believe that with what she does for so many kids of deserving of a considerable amount more or i guess higher pay, especially being that she is an 8th grade special-ed teacher.

What i think is great about these 2 interests/careers is generally speaking there is no 'age limit' on either, basically in essence you're always going to be able to go back to teaching whenever you want, its not something that you can only do for a number of years.

Obiously the money is a key factor, if you enjoy what you're doing at the moment and the money is good then why not carry on, the future is something else.
