@GermanZ5 This is just my opinion but yeah she's one of the strongest characters.
Her spells are some of the strongest attacks in the game and can make short work of bosses but she takes double damage when hit so unless you know how to play with her, she can be a challenge.
@ozzyosbournefan08 because before symphony the art was done by programmers, they hired a famous Shojo artist to redesign everythign for SOTN and that became the new cannon on how it looked... then in Dawn they changed art styles again by hiring one of the Yugioh artists. (and it sucked)
@ozzyosbournefan08 I actually prefer this version of alucard, because I dont like how bishi some of the guys look in symphony of the night and beyond.
Alucard is cool, but the sheer usefulness of Grant for platforming makes me keep him. He sucks at bosses, but that's when you switch to Trevor anyway.
But then it wouldn't be a solo game. I'm running multiple playthroughs at once, even though I haven't done much of anything in the past year. Both versions of Grant are there.
@K48MKII To me it's a toss up. Grant's platform power is nice but Alucard could just turn into and bad completely skip areas...my problem with Grant was you had to go up the clock tower then head back down then you could continue on with game. But getting Alucard is no easy task either, so to me it's a catch 22...
There's special names you can enter to start with a specific character on the American version. Probably the Japanese too but I don't know the names there.
How do you swap between Trevor and his partner?

the problem is that sypha takes double damage. grant is hard to use. and alucard is hard to get.

how come Alucard looks a whole lot different in this one than symphony of the night

Question, can you do this with any character, you know, put in a name and have that character in the beginning?

Okuda - Alucard
Fujimoto - Grant
Urata - Sypha

Tough challenge. Alucard, though imposing, is severely impaired power-wise. His balls are weak.

Definitely Clock Tower. Alucard kicks ass there. Plus, he can get two 1-ups.
