This will make it possible to evaporate all isopropyl alcohol (although it is not toxic). The last phase when evaporating the water should be temperature controlled, not just a tea cooker :). Does, anyone know why the compound temperature should not exceed 290 F ?

@TeriChristine: The previous video in this series details how to make hemp oil. If you were to use high-grade alcohol rather than naphtha as your solvent, you'd be able to use it topically. If it was too thick, you could dilute with more alcohol once you had the oil.
@naggerwhat: That's my point; it should be plainly obvious to anyone with even a modicum of sense that boiling solvents is risky business, and that they should take proper precautions. Anyone who needs to be told that really shouldn't be playing with solvents to begin with.
Re Alcohol, I was referring to the question of using the oil topically. One way to do that would to leave some of the alcohol in, or dilute the finished oil with fresh alcohol.
@JCLeSinge You can use it topically with Naptha as well, as virtually all people who used Rick Simpson's hemp oil used it made with Naptha gas, not the camp fuel stuff that has rust inhibitors. If it is done right there is no solvent left after the process of making the hemp oil is completed.
@chrychek: Cheers; I've got no experience of naptha, but pretty much everyone knows alcohol can be used in ointments. Didn't want to make medical suggestions without certain knowledge. Thanks for the info.

@zorab2: There really are only two strains of pot; indica and sativa. "Mexican" (and indeed any weed you've heard of) must be one or other of these two. Have a close look at it; if it's bright green, it's sativa. If it's more greenish-brown, then it's indica. Lots of varieties these days are sativa/indica cross, though.
I doubt that sativa would "do more harm than good"; at the very least, it'll make you feel better.
Well, I'm sure even hemp has sufficient cannabinoid levels to provide a cancer remedy. It's just that a high producing mj strain would obviously be quite a bit more efficient for this particular application.

@chinchoweed - Are you talking about DCA? It sounds like it. DCA has gone past its patent and could have been profitable. The more recent problem isn't money but the level of nerve toxicity left behind, which isn't generally a problem when releasing drugs for these purposes. Nerve toxicity is not nearly as bad (if bad at all) as the radiation exposed to ones body during our current, regular cancer treatment. There's going to be one problem after another, until no one remembers DCA.

@TeriChristine: The previous video in this series details how to make hemp oil. If you were to use high-grade alcohol rather than naphtha as your solvent, you'd be able to use it topically. If it was too thick, you could dilute with more alcohol once you had the oil.
Personally, I'd suggest you smoke it though :-)

Re Alcohol, I was referring to the question of using the oil topically. One way to do that would to leave some of the alcohol in, or dilute the finished oil with fresh alcohol.

@JCLeSinge You can use it topically with Naptha as well, as virtually all people who used Rick Simpson's hemp oil used it made with Naptha gas, not the camp fuel stuff that has rust inhibitors. If it is done right there is no solvent left after the process of making the hemp oil is completed.

@zorab2: There really are only two strains of pot; indica and sativa. "Mexican" (and indeed any weed you've heard of) must be one or other of these two. Have a close look at it; if it's bright green, it's sativa. If it's more greenish-brown, then it's indica. Lots of varieties these days are sativa/indica cross, though.
I doubt that sativa would "do more harm than good"; at the very least, it'll make you feel better.

@chrychek High-grade is pretty much exactly what I was referring to with 'MJ Strain'. Of course, Marijuana and Hemp are the same species of plant, but they are totally separate varieties. Hemp has a tendency to hermy and is a strain bred for its fiber and seeds, which would be a waste of time to cultivate for anti-cancer purposes compared to a strain bred for its potency. There is a reason that people breed high cannabinoid containing plants, might as well use em.

@chinchoweed - Are you talking about DCA? It sounds like it. DCA has gone past its patent and could have been profitable. The more recent problem isn't money but the level of nerve toxicity left behind, which isn't generally a problem when releasing drugs for these purposes. Nerve toxicity is not nearly as bad (if bad at all) as the radiation exposed to ones body during our current, regular cancer treatment. There's going to be one problem after another, until no one remembers DCA.

I found out that Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma doesn't respond well to natural treatments, found out the hard way. I am doing real well and will keep you posted. There has been many studies since then, that all confirm the same thing THC does destroy Cancer cells. THC is not the only cure out there, do some research :D

The point I was trying to make was the people of the 70s who smoked MJ were part of the group that protested the Vietnamese War. People say smoking MJ makes you passive = mindless drone and automatically agreeing but it doesn't.

Chemicals cause the cancer. So I don't eat it (read the labels on your food) I don't put it on your skin (use natural soaps and lotions again read the labels) and stay away from places where you can breathe it into your lungs. I wouldn't use it whilst getting your body irradiated. I'd just use it after to repair the mutated cells. Bee pollen has also been tested and proven to help with the recovering of chemo.

Smoking Hemp/Marijuana makes you passive. The government doesn't like this, especially when the hippies of the 70s were protesting the Vietnam War. That is what started the drug war along with the gang violence associated with the illegal distribution of it.
By making it illegal, drug dealers charge more for it and gain power. Hey, alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine are addictive, can kill you if you take too much, has a long term bad effect but is legal? Why? Because it doesn't make you passive.

That is the government propaganda talking. INDIAN HEMP is how the law is written. Anti-Hemp organizations like the governments of the world call it "marijuana" to scare people and they have used that Mexican slang word to demonize the plant.
It is hemp, it is loaded with THC, and marijuana is a made up word that only serves to scare people away from it.
HEMP IS CANNABIS, CANNABIS IS MARIJUANA, MARIJUANA IS HEMP!
Hemp oil is medicinal. Non-medicinal hemp is industrial... not hard to get.

You cannot buy this oil from the store. If you get it from a health store, its Hemp SEED oil. You need to make it or have someone make it for you.
