Believe it or not some place actually cater to airsoft rather than paintball.

"Hit" means you were shot most of the times you are briefed on the rules before play.

@RaxiuscoreOnline No. These videos are filmed at proper Airsoft sites. Airsoft in the UK is run in a very similar way to paintball. Companies buy or rent land and set up an Airsoft site on them, and people pay to play on them, exactly like Paintball sites do.

A hit is, as the word suggests, when a shot hits a person. This signifies that they are "dead". Depending on the site they may then need to head to a respawn point, or be healed by a medic.

How many Joule have your guns? Because a lot of them are AEG`s and in Germany (I dont know if it is in the UK the same) there are just AEG´s with max. 0,5 Joule. Over 0,5 J they are semi automatic.

@CommanderL0L People use what they have, most players buy their uniforms as and when they can afford to, so you can turn up here in full WWII US Marine load out but with an Aug if thats all you have at the time.

@CommanderL0L Yeah it doesn't really matter. Thats whats awesome about air soft is everyone dresses their own way. Such as me i wear marpat with a black vest and a Classic Army m4. I am trying to copy the US Marines style, and they don't use black vests :P But its all i could get at the time. Thats what is awesome about Airsoft is everyone is themselves :D
