Q:Why did the former Seoul Subway line 3 train wasn't orange?

A:Because when the former Seoul Subway line 3 was invented (1980's),

There was only Line 1 which was red and Line 2 which was green so they thought thought of a pattern like Red, Green, and Blue.

the line color for line 3 was orange from the beginning.

however, the trains were not painted orange.

the earliest train sets for line 3 and 4 were painted the same,

from the top, white / blue window / red strip / white.
