the jap store demo is 2 short levels. loved & finished ps2 one. would have expected improved graphics on ps3, but the cell shading makes them look just like its on ps2. less slowdown though. i need to roll up the king

you guys know there's been a japanese demo on PSN for a while, right? all you need to do is make a new user account on your PS3, sign up to the playstation network saying you're from Japan, wing it through the signup screens (it isn't very difficult) and then peruse the store. the word you're looking for is TRIBUTE. i'm getting it now and i'm from the UK! you can even play it on your preferred user account.

Yep this is true! Definitely worth checking out the demo, you get 2 levels and you get a nice look of the new graphic style in one of them. Also, make sure you pick up the Noby Noby Boy/Katamari PS3 theme whilst you're there! :)

Hah definitely! One of the big appeals of the Katamari games are the brilliant soundtracks. This one seems to carry on the tradition. :)

Seriously!!! Heck, I would buy a PS3 for this game. That's why I bought my 360, for Beautiful Katamari. I don't even care that a few of the levels in this vid are recycled from the other games (maybe all of them? I haven't played Me&My, or the DLC for Beautiful)

I think a sandbox Katamari game would rule too. Kind of like a mix between Katamari and the way missions are done in Tonly Hawk Project 8.

its just like a better vertion of beautifull katamari, it look realy good, the most notory diference is that here wen you gronw a katamari of 11,800 km you can get into space to get more tings, in beautifull you say in a little ball. well i think ps3 owner deserve it, we 360 owner already have beautifull, so its fair, and maybe wii get one too.
