I never ended up getting Darkfall. Followed it for 4 years in development, in the end decided there were other things around, and the graphics just didn't do it for me - they would have been great if there hadn't been so many delays.

@slapstik89 I gave it a chance and followed it through the entire production, just to find out i never made it in the Beta...then when it finally did come out there weren't any box copies of the game, which made me feel uneasy about even trying to purchase it (made to fail?). Anyways i tried the trial and was glad that i never did get into the game, the main problem is the rough and unpolished UI if you ask me, the gameplay is solid and is actually fun, but the UI just makes you leave.

I tried the Darkfall free trial, moment i made my guy and went into the noob areas the server went down, not much later i got on and saw that the noob mobs where glitched, not a good first impression. I played again later and couldn't stand the UI. The thing i did like was the gameplay, reminded me of morrowind...

@Devilmaycryxx3 The only problem i see with this game is that it just isnt user friendly, and so many things can be changed to make it more "polished". i understand some people may like the way its setup now, but to truly market a game and make it successfull it has to appeal to a wider audience rather than to hardcore players. There's so many people who hate this game so much, it's amazing how they still watch videos on it. The graphics are amazing in comparison to other mmo's. I don't mind the silly animations because I know that they're going to work on it. Alot of games when they first came out were crap, no one's giving it a chance to grow. I'm still going to play it. I have been following MO's development since they launched the website. From the newest video, we can definitely determine there is a game there, but it is no where near ready nor have they implemented most the games features. Right now its more bare bones than Darkfall. I would also like to say MO has been in development since 2003, which is the same year in which the Darkfall devs scrapped the client and started over. So its already been 6 years. I believe it will be at least another.

People that don't understand this game probably never played Ultima Online back in the good days. You didn't need levels and there was no divisions of players. I could speed a month training my weapon skills and fight group with people that spent a year training all of theirs and be on the same level as them in melee combat. The whole level and class thing just simplifies a game.

Aion has nothing on this game. Best part of this game is when I was in a battle with 50 people my fps held at a steady 40 fps (8800 gts 320 mb). The atmosphere is great, so is the gameplay and the features offered are the best.
