those "cheap batteries" out perform max amps batteries....

buy one and it will make you a believer, I sold my 6500 2s 150c max amps lipo because the gens ace did indeed out perform it.. never had any problems with them.

just a thought mate , a universal shaft if run parallel ie" not on a given angle it will wear out the universals fast . they must never be used in a stiff parallel arrangement for this reason in a real car,pinion angle is critical . what you need a is a rubber bushed cup-link shaft ,this will remove any vibration .!

Medic just bought my new 3racing winch "because of you :)" i was just messin around in the house got it all hooked up pullin some stuff its fine then the next day not working at all checked every wire possible all good connection tried 3 differnet batteries including the one i ran the car with and still nothing. i cant decide whether i need a control system or a motor a little help would be nice! i think ive already told you keep up the great work but ill say it agian keep it up!!!!!

Oddly enough while I was waiting for my internet to load this vid I got my Evader DT on the desk to remove the old Sprint 2 ESC to get to the battery bay...the MaxAmps battery is a tighter squeeze than I like so I'm checking for clearance...Besides today I got the Traxxas XL-5 ESC I'm putting in. first and formost, great work. ive been following this build series when you first introduced it and your making great progress. it actually sounds like a real diesel when its running which surprised me, i think once you get the loctite out of the driveshaft or replace the driveshaft (which ever you choose) it should fix that problem. also i cant wait to see it with the body. anyways great job and i cant wait to see the finished product, oh and about the cost, im thinking about 2000 grand so far

i got a great idea for a transmission that would make that thing even more bad ass and be able to out pull any 8th scale out there man. oh and i know why u have that motor shake it is the front axle but is cuz of where the front transmission is on the rig if u can move it back like 1/8" it will go way. (i had the same thing happen to my Jeep J20 pick up when i jacked it up two feet)

I would hook the two top motors up together and then the two bottom ones. Also if your going to do truck pulls get a pair of Smaller tires for the front, I find it provides way more traction pulling if you have two different tire sizes in front and back

Good morning, how bout trying a Spektrum MR3000 receiver? Single Marine (water proof) receiver that has two throttle outputs and two steering outputs. Ran into similar situation with E-Maxx, and called Spektrum for some advise when hooking up both steering servos on it with a different receiver I tried and failed. Plus this receiver is tiny so you gain some space back.

LQQKing good bro. I myself had that motor shaking problem. But once u start running it more and mote it goes away. Not sure y. We'll find out later when parts start to break. Lol. But I think it was one of the motors. I think u spent about almost $2,000 give or take. That includes everything paint to radio batteries. ;) cheerio ol' boy. Ur shaft's to small. @NicholasMides well you can get an Idea about the weight by just seeing how he is handling it... dont worry there is no overweight problem this thing got too much torq power, but I think those two batteries are not enought for 4 motors.

@ziblikh 100% correct. In fact, those batts where just for powering up. The real batts are Dual 5450mah 3S Lipos! Weight of the rig Prior to the Lipos being added.. about 6-8 Pounds

Try delaying your response time by a few miliseconds on the rear if you feel your driveline is free, not all esc's are exact to 1.3ms, just a thought. Either way you inspired me to do a 4 motor 1/8 sensored brushless system on a custom chassis, months before i get to show. Thanks for the great vids!

I think your driveshaft shake or binding is happen because the angle of themselves (fr & Rear ) .

hey it might still just be the u-joint angle because the angle is so much and the fact that the angle at the tranny and the angle at the diff. just from the vid. it looks like its more than a five degree difference. so if you could make the tranny out put shaft and the front diff input shaft at the same degree than the two maching u-joint angles will cancel thenselfs out. drive shafts like .5-1 degree angle and u-joints like 0-5 degrees in angle difference
