its a 96 lx with a 1.9L sohc. got the gauges off ebay along time ago. had to chain the engine down the torque was causing the engine to rock when it was given fuel. riped the shifter linkage out of the floor board at the strip over a year ago. parted it out afterwords, rad surpport was beyond repair. wicked little car, i miss it.
its a gauge cluster cover. but the tach and all is factory. wasnt hard boosting compression ratio.
mixed some escort engine parts and use a few air tools and waa laa there it sits. comrpession test was wrong. redid and got 268 on the fourth** cylinder and 250+ across others. gota build new engine way to much compression.
every one thats been workin on escorts in the U.S has mostly done turbos... thought I'd go a diffrent route. Still have a spark knock, talked to a friend who in turned talk to a friend at FORD for some programing help, will see where that goes... many other mods aside the compression.
