That would have been an extremely dynamic ending to the books, even if the "supposed" hero hadn't lived to save the world himself. Although I prefer the books than the films, I do love Emma Watson, she is a true fantasy actress. Just like Helena Bonham Carter. They were born to perform fantasy films. They are special, sensitive, it is a rare actress type. I love both of them.

I don't think so. I just don't like the fact that Hermione got less snobby in the movies. She never changed her matter-of-factly, and I-know-better-than-you voice in the books. In the movies shes way more caring and motherly, whereas in the books shes way more of a bitch when shes trying to protect Harry/Ron.
