I swear I just finished the book for the second time and just cried at this simple trailer. But I think that is a very important part of this trailer, because it is so simple it leaves a lot to the imagination, and, if you have read it brings back the emotions of reading it. :)

@jrmfl29 Well, the writing is simply fantastic, it is filled with beautiful and inspiring lessons and the characters are the kind with whom you can just fall in love, even the minor ones.

Also, it makes you FEEL ALL THE THINGS!!! ;D

@jaytummy this is exactly how I think of it!! like this is how it would have been had there not been a fault in their stars. here are just two regular kids, which is what they were, just with unfortunate (understatement) circumstances out of their control.

@jaytummy @SexyPinkLemons I kind of thought of the swing set more of a symbol for Augustus and Hazel's innocence. When Augustus says that he wants the swingset back, I think he's saying that he wishes he were younger and completely innocent again.

@liamjfloyd Yeah, that's what I thought as well. I was just putting it in context of the video. If Augustus and Hazel weren't sick, they would be swinging on the swingset instead of feeling nostalgic for it; they would be reveling in their innocence instead of longing for it.

@SexyPinkLemons Because it shows the metaphorical emotions that are felt in their bond. It's kind of hard to show the emotions between them that quickly without using such a metaphor. The book is about metaphors. The trailer, in it's essence, is a metaphor.

@TheJnamkrane I don't think either of the two leads in in much of a condition to happily swing at any point in the novel. Augustus only has one leg, so I'm not sure how that would work with swinging,but I'm sure he could manage. Hazel, on the other hand, takes the tubes out of her nose at the airport briefly and almost passes out.
