  • This is my favorite mix of this song! Ms. Corrine should've been a well respected high profile fashion icon model only if she gave more time for modelling! But nevertheless, she's the best in her musical talent as well! She's a designer too!

  • The way she delivers that line "In this wear-uuuuuuuhrrlld....nothing lasts for-evuuuuhhhh..." is totally memorable. Like a lip-reader, watch how her mouth move as she enunciates the words "world" and "forever". Wow, that is FABULOUS.

  • This is so fabulous in every way, including he superb video that i just cannot believe it. I love this track but almost everything they did/do is superb and in a class of it'sown. It;'s sophisticated and classy and the production is always perfect. This track though is one of my favourites. The track came out when I was going through a challenging time and the song almost became a mantra to me. Mny thanks indeed. x

  • I love that woman!

  • i've come to a decision, it's time to rearrange my life.......... this song epitomizes my current life :D

  • This is my favorite song of the bunch. I wonder how come no one has posted the first video am i the same girl, which is a remake of soulful strut. This girl is sweet and pretty damn good too.

  • It's music like this that makes me think how lucky I was to have been raised in the UK during the 70's-90's. Musical masterpiece, true british "blue-eyed soul"!

  • Love their music!Thought Kalidioscope World and Am I The Same Girl were outstanding albums.Never understood why they didn't become more famous than they were.Corrine a powerful singer.

  • "I'm not gona change", lol. That's a switch. Normally it's the woman trying to change the guy. Strong minded women don't change for anybody. Trust me, lol.

  • It reminds me my adolescence. Corine is certainly a key feature of the group. Charming, exquisite, exotic woman with a tantalizing smile and captivating eyelook.

  • WOW MY GROUP OWWWWWWWWW I LOVE THIS GROUP

  • A real singer, no computer, not like today's singers!!!!

  • Great song. Creepy dancers. Gave me nightmares lol

  • @bresnan21 Thats the early 90's for ya! LOL

  • coooooooooool!!!

  • great song!!!!! , and the audio quality on this video its awesome!

  • the thing is ..she's really a weak singer but I wouldn't want anyone else to 'over'sing this stuff. In that way she's perfect.

She also has this elegant, classy Audrey Hepburn thing goin on that can't be denied.

But these musicians and the overall band they use live is impeccable!

I've loved them from day one

  • @nukeystik I never thought of the Audrey Hepburn thing but; you are onto something---------------especially Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffanys.

  • 12 inch version...cracka..........

  • I love this song.....'in this world, nothing lasts forever' -----pure magic

  • I've always loved SOS! THere is no other pop group that has this distinctive sound.

  • Great song and hearing it live in NYC last year was unbelievable!

  • great fantastic song!!

  • Isn't Swing Out Sister wonderful? I was in my 30s when 'Break Out' was on. It wasn't played enough. What a nice break from the rock and roll standards.

It's nice to see someone use God's gift in a great way.

The fact that she's gorgeous is nice, too!

    Love her music.

  • corinne. I LOVE YOU!

  • I just looooooovvve this woman.

  • It brings me back to ten years before the song created. i miss my old flame...

  • I've been in love since the first time I heard Breakout years ago, fabulous

  • Adoroooooooooo....baladinha gostosa...todas deles!!

  • yea, don't change!!

  • She shouldn't change! She's great!

  • As far as I'm concerned she can stay the way she is!

  • enchanting

  • My absolute #1 favorite musical artist (s) of all time. Their sound is unique, retro, jazzy, poppy, all around fun and easy to listen to. It helps me get through a bad day. This song helped me with a big personal decision. LOVE YOU SOS!

  • Absolutely sublime.

  • It is as though fine art is given voice as she sings. I'm still enraptured after all of this time. Thank God for that.

  • COOL vid Love the song.

  • This video is great. I love how the early 90's tried to bring the late 60's, early 70's back. I loved this group, a straight throwback talented 70's group, that performed from the heart!

  • Love how she trails off with her voice "In this world, NOTHING lasts forEVAHHHHH.....". Check the fabulous background vocals (how she tracked that). Wow, fabulous.

  • This video creeps me out.

  • jax833 likes it........i'm not going to change!

  • Who wrote all this songs.Compliments

  • I"m buying all their albums next week. I grew up with this music playing in the background. I had a crush on her also as a young boy lol. Strength, wisdom, love, and open mindedness is much respected in today's life in my book.

  • Bravo Fortune, you nailed it. They are some good stuff, eh? Michael

  • @FortuneGranted3000 The album that this song is from, I call the "Breakup" album. There are a lot of songs about that on this disk including "Understand" a very deep and empowering song. Yes get all of their CD's even if you have to pay import fees; they are ll worth it.

  • Brotherly Elite here;

This woman has a genuine spirit that has contributed a big portion to my transformation of my mind on so many levels of understanding seriously if someone says today's music can compare to this u better never let my see u in person. And 2 think i ran upon this artist on you-tube by mistake looking for a jazz song. There is nothing like the old-skool PERIOD.

-One of the greatest mistakes i ever made-

-I Thank u eternally 4 ever 4 your wisdom Corrine-

  • Fantastic Group with Corrine Drewery on vocals!...Love this track!

  • spoke to her back last year when appearing live .....such a nice girl total respect for her.

  • fantastica corinne

  • This video is very interesting. I wouldn't think SOS would have a video like this. Very C+C Music Factory, Black Box, Technotronic-ish. I DO love it, though! I've listened to their CDs for years, but have just recently seen their videos. Great fun!!

  • Great concert in LA my only regret is I wish they could make it to LA every year. Corrine just gets sexier with age.

  • Argentina espera por S.O.S

  • Swing Out Sister to perform in the U.S.

    Purchase tickets at Ticketmaster now!

  • GBS: Any chance SOS will come to Texas?

  • At this point, they are scheduled to play in San Francisco on June 3, LA on June 4, DC Jazz Festival on June 6, and BB Kings in New York on June 8..That's it for the US. They may add more shows after June 8, but nothing has been scheduled yet.

  • Bring them back to LA they were simply loved by the crowd.tonight.

  • Hey forty8r....can you send me a private e-mail and tell me about the concert? Also, do you have a set list? I envy you so much!!!!!

  • need a set list let me know, seen them in San Fransisco also will send you a link to some dude that took a bunch os photos of Corrine and not much of the band but better than nothing:) Billy

  • oh pls, pls,..... can I also get the link so that i can see the pics ? I could not get a flight in time to catch the concert and I would love to see their look. thanks so much mate !

  • Well being American myself Ive never heard of SoS but ive never heard of them on the radio of anywhere else. It just ironic that one day I was trying to look for jazz song i remembered hearing called limelight SoS just happened to pop out as one one the top 5 choices. But yes definitely a gem well worth listening to she surely does fit with being one of the top tiers queen categories that's for sure. Once again this is another you-tube discovery in music never heard.

  • You are too young to have heard them on the radio in the U.S. during the eighties.

  • Swing Out Sister is one of the most underated sophistipop and smooth jazz groups of the late 20th and early 21th centuries; thats sad because Corrine and Andy are two very talented Brits; they deserve better! Can anyone out there please tell me what happened to Martin Jackson? Why did he quit the band and what is he doing now ? (Why would anyone want to quit SOS is beyond me. )Also, I'm really starting to like I'm not Going To Change and The Waiting Game!

  • Google it.Its not like they needed him their music was fine without him.

  • SOS are more popular in Asia (Japan, Phillipines, and China in particular), and in South America (namely, Brasil)

I'm just sorry SOS never gained the props they deserved in North America other than just a "flash in the pan" one-hit wonder with 1987's "Break Out"

Corrine has more talent than any delicious candy-coated marshmellow in Saran wrap that pass for pop music--Britney Spears/Pink/Katy Perry/etc,....Corrine is a class act hard to follow!

  • Thats true that SOS is not popular in the US like the other Jazz artist. Im an a American and i like SOS and i have the first 4 album on tapes but the tapes are worn out and dont have the$ to get CDs yet. She does have more talent and have a class act by herself like Sade or Anita Baker.

  • I totally agree, well said. Plus Corrine was a true babe!

  • Trewells: What you do mean, "was"?

    Corrine STILL is! :o)

  • Okay....you got me. Me being a typical guy, I wouldn't refuse her advances.

  • Probably why they are not taken seriously - she's too cute to be taken seriously by many people, includng those above that are just talking about her looks and not the person i know her to be...

  • I agree. I still listen to their CDs often.

  • I disagree with them not being taken seriously.Their fan base is for people who appreciate their music. Some of their songs are still being played on soft rock or jazz stations today.Just because a singer is hot doen't mean they are not taking seriously.Look at Beyonce,Gwen Stefani etc.

  • Her voice is unbelieveable. I enjoy the music and her wonderful voice.

  • I can't believe this group weren't bigger.....

Fabulous songs, and simply beautiful singing.....

    The video's awesome too here

  • Actually Swingout sister is big in britian

  • Not as much as they should have been though

  • "When I listen to this I feel like I'm shopping in Gap or Old Navy?!"

LOL Yeah, that song does invoke that feeling, doesn't it?

  • A slick, polished and stylish SOS video. A visual and audio feast too..

  • im an african dude and it's always said that africans have beautiful voices. but this chick has a smoooth melodic voice which is very unique.

it reminds me of my teenage days in the early '90s.

  • Talking about style and substance

  • El vídeo es muy creativo e ingenioso y por supuesto la música de Swing Out Sister es ¡¡FABULOSA!!

    5 *

  • Not to burst bubbles:

If SOS tours, more likely they'll tour various parts of Europe & Asia. In the United States, chances are slim...Unless SOS does small venues in NYC, Miami, Chicago, maybe Los Angeles...And, that's a STRONG "maybe" If SOS Do tour the U.S., probably because their album has a sound that relates to the young people of today--A la Timberland, Aguilera, Rhianna, Maroon 5, Republic One--all with the "Timbaland" sound.

  • The way Corrine looks into the camera makes one feel that she is reaching right into our hearts.

    Corrine.....are you out there?

    WE LOVE YOU!

    Please don't ever stop touring!

  • yes no doubt -the camera loves her and she is a stunning lady with a great voice--

  • I am totally smitten with Corrine and the music of SOS. I am having trouble finding any of their music anywhere. I hope they continue the good work and music.

  • Don't get me wrong, SOS (Swing Out Sister) early stuff--via, late 80's into the mid 90's songs--were fantastic, but, if anyone is lucky enough to get their hands on SOS's latest import "Beautiful Mess" (Only in Japan & Europe), I seriously suggest doing so! Spectatular & Brilliant CD! Corrine & Andy incorporated years of their jazzy/pop/contemporar/early 70's soul-esque sound in "Beautiful Mess"...There, I happily plugged CD :o)

  • Stylish video and smooth song.

  • She is exquisite

  • English beautiful and simple women, I like Corinne Drewery and Lisa Stansfield my two English loves

  • She has the most beautiful lips in music...and man can she sing!

  • "I've reached a decision. It's time to rearrange my life." Absolutely, Corinne!!

  • Get thee behind me, Satan ;-)

  • Not sure I understand the comment, but okay --

  • "Not sure I understand the comment, but okay "

What is there not to understand? You say that you wish to re-arrange your life - mentioning Corinne in the same breath. You obviously mean that you would like her to become part of your life - a sentiment that I cheekily echoed for my own life, hence my saying that followed. Quite astonishing and worrying that you failed to grasp the point.

  • I don't know who you are and why you feel the need to be so sarcastic and bitter, but since you obviously failed to "grasp my point" I was simply echoing what she said, not that I wish her to become a part of my life, and I truly don't know where you got that from and why you felt the need to attack me. So, tell you what, why don't you get behind ME Satan and shut the fuck up! Honestly, you can't post anything on here sometimes without being attacked for no apparent reason ...

  • Sorry about that. I felt a bit belligerent and my comment came out a tad too vitriolic.

    Apologies and blue skies.

  • Apology quite accepted. I think the point is we both love Corinne! :-)

  • It must have been about 15 years ago that I saw them on tv for the first time. Corinne's smile lit up the screen and I've never been the same since. It's good to know they're still out there making excellent music.

  • If I'm not mistaken, I believe that's my friend Kenny's roommate Clifford Smale dancing.

  • FAB MAKEUP AND PRODUCTION !

  • Don't change, Corinne. You couldn't possibly be more beautiful than as you are.

Corinne Drewery has such a way with a song. Beautifully modulated, impeccable rhythm and timing. She just makes the song her own. Unbelievably slinky and stylish. But that's Corinne.

  • STYLE with a capitol "S". No matter how much money or diamonds they throw around in the videos of today, they will never know the true meaning of the word.

This band is and always will be the most classy and sophisticated band in the world.

Corinne looks like a supermodel. This song is from their 'Get in Touch with Yourself' album, which is amazing.

  • Actually, I don't know any SuperModels that could look as good as Corinne in a hood.

And I know for sure NONE of them have a smidgen of talent compared to Corinne.

Check her out in the official "You on My Mind" video, she is STUNNING!

  • These are the first time I'm looking at corrine drewrey on youtube.. i was born in 87... ever since 89 my dad has pretty much forced me o love SoS.... and I do! i have every album. Shapes and Patterns is my favorite, followed by filth and Dreams and then Somehwere Deep In The Night

  • Man, that Swing Out Sister - she was so groovy, couture & FUNKY, too. All the senses are flowed over like honey.

  • Corinne in a latex "catsuit" with and without the hood. Way too much for me to handle on a Monday. lol......But I'd sure like to try!

    I'm not gonna change.......either

  • Corinne said lasr week that they had not come up with a name yet, so I was wondering where you got this information?

  • I look at those beautiful eyes and all I can say is WOW!!!!

  • One of my all time favourite SOS Classics !!!!

  • She's really working the lyrics with that great voice. Like heaven to the ears.

  • Swing out sister always brighten forever !

    I think so

  • I think Corrine looks lovely with the shoulder-length hair-bob. I want a chair like that funky-blue one that Andy is sitting in. Great song too!

  • all of these SOS videos... Thanks YouTube!! I'm lovin it!!:)

  • british

  • i love this girl... is she a brit? american? or what?

  • A beautiful British babe. An elegant Englishwoman. A lovely limey lady. Ah, well, to heck with it, just one gorgeous woman.

  • Her name is Corrine Drewery. I've had a crush on this lady for nearly 2 decades! Wow!

  • She's not dead, guy, it was a tasteless rumor.

  • can she be more elegant and chick!!!

  • did she marry? haven't heard any news of her.. are they on tour now?

  • This is a remake. The beat is much more funkier. 90's style. It's all good.

  • Great video. Very late 60's retro-looking.Cool.Love Corrine.Very classy/avante guarde lady.

  • mai sentita questa versione...

  • GREAT,LOVE IT.

  • The mix on the voices, the percusion (its the 92 ), the piano, keyboards, the chorus that Corinne does...what well is done this song!!!

  • My favourite British band. Strong melodies and arrangements. I think this music has started "acid jazz".

  • crappy video, like the song tho

  • hater
