  • Does this apply to baritone/ euphonium? I play that but I know they both have the same mouthpieces.

  • @eBombzor Absolutely!

  • That's a really solid first note! Are you sure you haven't tried this before? You sound like you should be doing this for a living

  • Weston! Thanks so much! You might remember me from my user name. I'm teaching all instruments at an inner city school and I'm glad to have some videos to show! Great job on all!

  • Thanks Weston. I started having mega embouchure issues. I found this video to be extremely helpful.

  • This is a good vid. I play this and a couple others for a friend that's trying to fix his embouchure, but he's having a lot of trouple with his lip buzzing. His buzz is still kinda airy or at time cracked and spitty

  • That's a really solid lip buzz

  • Good vid. This is a good demo. Kinda woulda been nice to explain why we use the "M" though

  • Saying the letter M just gives you the baseline structure for forming an embouchure. It keeps your lips directly on top of each other, keeps your corners forward to stop you from smiling and in general gives you a flat, functional starting point.

  • i have to play this for band and now know how to position my mouth

  • thanks a lot
