I have her "Manon" and "La Boheme" LPs from years ago. She's if anything even more impressive with Verdi.

It is indeed her correct birth name,Victoria de los Angeles Lopez Gardcia.Parents had to ask their priest for permission to use Victoria de los Angeles.A perfect name for a Great Musical Lady of Spain and the World.

Interesting - so she was using only her name as her art name. I have always thought that delos Angeles was her family name.
