Pipe cleaners are awesome but you can buy a big pack of them at a dollar store in the crafts department for a buck, and at some dollar stores there is something that looks like a huge pipecleaner but kind of fluffy a bit about 2 feet long, they work great for other things and can be used like a bore snake for application of chems to the bore etc out and about to let it season til ya get home. wood skewers at the dollar store also, for bbq and good to stick a patch or rag on the end to clean
I like your frankness about the truth regarding Tactical is really practical and some people get caught up on the hype. Also, Carbeurator, Brake, and Throttle Body cleaners are all the same product at 3 different prices. You can get Non Chlorinated Brake Cleaner at the $1 store.
Just curious how you liked the course you mentioned. Did your firearm malfunction at all with those 750 rounds ? It's a Glock, right ? Interesting video...I could watch this kind of stuff all day. LOL Btw, speaking of low-cost chemicals, you can use ammonia for bore cleaning and synthetic motor oil for lube.
It is ok but you need to be carefull with it around plastics as it will melt some of them. It is also known to leave a slight film behind that some say can "gunk up". Use it outside.
What are you cleaning and what are you cleaning it with? You need to change up if you are coughing the next day. Do not use brake cleaner inside. It is harmful and I only use it outside.
Just don't use things that give off fumes. Get some of the Barrett Heavy Bore Cleaner. It has no smell and you can get it on your skin. Plus you know when it works since it changes colors.
@turdferguson9725 Get Ballistol man...i clean my guns with it...no fumes, the shit is biodegradable or however you spell it LOL...its good stuff, give it a try man.
Yes, get a hard bristle toothbrush from the grocery store. Get a boresnake #35 if you want to save alot of time and get a really clean barrel. If you can, you should sell the kel-tec and get a glock26, just my opinion. Spend your money on ammo and training.
Good job man!

Currently living in an apartment where I don't have access to a private garage.
I try my best to get good ventilation whenever I'm cleaning short of leaving the front door open, but if I cough the next day I still worry.
Spiner1105 3 years ago
I'm in the same boat, I live in a studio, I do all my cleaning in the bathroom and keep the door closed and the ventilation fan on.
Maybe I should make a video about it, lol.

Great first video!!!! Want to know where you got your syringe for the grease. Will be using your ideas on my HK.
Sasquatch7foot 3 years ago
I get them from work. You can google and find them for sale. Syringes are legal in most states, it is just the needles that are generally illegal.
