There was someone who worked at WDRC in Hartford CT who was the original drummer for Alive and Kicking's Tighter Tighter.... i will have to think about his name, they always mentioned it on WDRC. The person either left the radio station or retired several years ago.
Wonderful song. I am not sure what is going on here?? This is a duet. The lead singer is clearly accomplished and has great stage presence but he never engages his female lead. They both have wonderful voices... but they are doing it wrong.
@deadairsam LOL.. They're doing is EXACTLY the way the original song was recorded.. so HOW are they doing it wrong? They have equal singing time.. so how is he not engaging the female singer? Please clarify...
@megavega4 Thank you. We're playing a private party here...we put on a totally different performance for a stage show or at a club or concert. We have to tone tings down for private parties/weddings. Our job on those types of gigs is to get everyone dancing and not take away from the subject(s) of the party. I think what Deadairsam is referring to is how toned down we are here. There are tons of videos of us performing at concerts and clubs on my channel that everyone can check out.

They were the house band at Wilson's Garage, a club in the Hamptons, where I saw them 35 years ago. It is amazing that they are still sought after by the major clubs in the tri-state area today, as one of the best "party" bands around. Saw them last year, when I visited back East, and was blown away by how good they still are, even better in some ways.
@Twom44 Thanks! I'm the "firl" (I know you meant girl) lead singer in Alive N Kickin, and singing in this video. Pepe Cardona is the male lead singer and original singer...also John Parisio, the guitarist, is an original member. ANd you're right, the rest of us are indeed much younger than Pepe and John, although the keyboard player has been in the band a good 20 yrs. I wasn't even alive when Tighter & Tighter came out!
