Anime Vs Whatever: Blood - The Anime Film Vs The Live Action Film

I actually liked the anime more. I just thought the story was a short story that needed more depth. The live action really captured the plot and the action was good, but it just felt like a longer version of what the anime movie could have been.

Great video, Hardy! I haven't seen the live-action adaption, but yeah, I heard the story was more developed than the anime movie; however, the fact the movie operates more like a revenge movie is just...meh. I'm not a huge fan of revenge, on the count it's seen SO DAMN MUCH in creative media. Of course, I felt the anime movie was decent: nothing special, but not bad for 50 mins. I liked the detail and emphasis you placed on both properties...it was very enjoyable! I'd like to see more. :)

I like this idea, despite that it's similar to NC's versus shows. But then again, it's not like it's his universal idea.

I approve of Witchblade versus. You should do that next. Not to meant Blood Plus versus Blood C, Ouran High School vs. Twi---I mean, Vampire Knight, Pokemon vs. Digimon, Gurren Lagann vs. Needless, and Bacanno vs. Durarara.

I do agree, the original blood movie was better, but as for the nurse and alice goes, I actually liked them both. I felt the nurse was more realistic, just like any normal person would do without combat skill, they're gonna scream and holler. As for Alice, she was purposely pretty, thin and fierce, so she could be easly liked, which is very common. As for the CGI in the live action, I didn't think it was that bad. And last I do agree that anime saya was more badass then the live action saya.

Nice video.I enjoyed.I agree that the anime verison was more eerie but I think you did complained about the CGI effects too much and it's not as bad as everyone is saying.Not every filmmaker will have the money.I liked the nurse.I liked the fact she was overweight but I think that they should of made Alice overweight,too.I do agree that Alice was more helpful.They both cool.The anime had cool fights but remake had better fight scenes because they didn't water nothing down since it's bloodier.

Pretty good concept, I don't think it's much a rip-off of "Old vs. New" as it is just comparing anime OVA, Movies, and TV Shows, and Live-Action Anime movies.

Keep it up, you have some great ideas for that show.
