  • Saw that exhibition in person when I was younger. It was fantastic.

  • @KimmoMusic I've actually seen a longer documentary. I wonder if I still have it on video (haha) yes video. Will have to check and upload it on here if I have it. It's a good one.

  • Great documentary of this wonderful artist!

  • He saw who the beautiful men were and drew them. HOTT

  • very good...

  • Tom (Touko) always said how hot the Nazis (when they were in Finland) were. I guess he was the ultimate uniform fetishist.

  • Tom of Finland art is good, but I think it is was to explicit and not suited to be displayed elsewhere. He and other artists did express the repressed desires of homosexual men that each individual homo man thought he was the only one to have them. His and other artists art spoke to many in secret. It was good to feel that your are not alone in this world and others share your thoughts. Still I think his art is well explicit and revealing.

  • What Durk Dehner said is right, homosexuality is always treated as illness by societies and the certain fact is always that homosexual men are not full men like their heterosexual peers, they are freaks and hybrids but certainly not men. Tom of Finland expressed to all those 'freaks' that we are men, we are hyper-masculine, we love machoness unlike our peers that preferred females. Many artist were also like Tom, their drawings were only viewed in the underground world of homosexual men, Happy!

  • Beautiful supermen.

  • @pal98111 To think that all of this started after he encountered military men, then the main reason was the killing of a Russian paratrooper, when he saw the lifeless body I can imagine what his thoughts. He felt the emptiness that fills someone when he kills himself, to think that this man could be him, this male body laid lifeless demanded life but not granted. Taking life from that body inspired him to bring life lots of other bodies to redeem what he did. The male body, mens vessel of joy

  • wow this is cool I have never heard an actual interview from the Tom of Finland creator

  • @gaycowboy31 no he's dead

  • @jambbba89 his art isn't though!
