@gibletSauce101 My theory is that the AI powers that be wanted a David vs. David finale and as Jason's fanbase grew that got nervous. The night of the final 4 the ripped on him so bad even after he went off stage after his first performance and continued to do so after the next person sung. By the time he came back on to sing Mr TambourineMan (which even with the messed up lyric was beautifully done) he had to be so nervous and the judges just steered it from there.
