  • This game was a real disappointment for me, sure it has a lot of moves and that's cool, but they don't serve any real purpose other than looking good. The game as a whole is unbearably slow and the enemies just don't have interesting moves, they just charge at you and soak damage while taking forever to kill. The game was dated when it was new.

  • amazing controls. still unbeaten. you can grab and hold, while kicking to other side. simply amazing. this should be ported to psp with multiplayer option to go via wireless.

  • this was always my favorite level lol

  • 1st- thanks for loading this I haven't seen this since i played it as a kid and 2nd-doesn't the big guy in the blue suit look like the twins from Kiss of the Dragon or is just me

  • Wait a second, does each character have multiple fighting styles?! I noticed that when you came down the steps your character changed his stance and his special bar refilled itself and then you suddenly went back to the previous stance and your special bar was empty again?

  • I will totally love this game 4ever! Seriously!

  • 4:14 Cool guys don't look at explosions...

  • I loved this game growing up. It's a bit dated now and the thing gets to be repetitive compared to the mega creative games out there today but for it's time this thing was a lot of fun.

  • you was rockin that game how you are supposed to homie haha. that stage is still my favorite mission. music and all. classic snes game to remember

  • You know the dude with the twin swords was rocking the Member's Only jacket...

  • The track for this mission was originally supposed to be for the final mission. An entirely new track was planned for the airport stage, but was scrapped at the last minute.

  • 0:49 an enemy that is a palette swap of the player? That's lazy... :P

  • @GertUberNerd you sound like it's never been done before lol

  • @GertUberNerd even better, he's one of the STRONGER ones!

  • Wow, this game was far ahead of it's time with Van Damme Kicks and Yip Man's punches

  • wow am actually happy to see a game like this on a game console i remember hen i use to play games like this on an arcade but can anyone please tell me a game on the ps2 that is similar to this because i have been intrested in games like this but i cant find it, does anyone know if the have this on the ps2 or i will like one similar to this, i rememember i use to play captain commando but the only had it on arcade

  • @victorakay Well since they don't actually make new games of this type anymore I think the only games of this type for the PS2 are on greatest hits games like Capcom Classics Collection which has games like Knights of the Round and Final Fight and Sega's Greatest Hits which has Streets of Rage and there is a rare and hard to find PS2 game called Sengoku Anthology which has all the Sengoku games on it. Another gem on the PS2 is God Hand from Capcom.

  • @victorakay FIGHTING FORCE for PSONE !! THE BEST Double Dragon double in 3D !!!

Fighting Force is the Last Big Fight game in this style :( I Will a Super Double dragon Remake - NOW !!!

Here can you see a Video of Fighting Force youtube.com/watch?v=MXCZ--6uJmc

  • the music in this level is epic...

  • OMG I love this level hahaha, brings back memories of my childhood lmao

  • Love the one-on-one with the boss at the end from 8:44. Two quick jabs, then multiple gut punches, and then an uppercut..it's awesome!

  • 1:47...ALONG WITH THIS!

  • 0:41 MY FAVORITE MOVEMENT WHEN I USED TO PLAY!

  • I LOVED THIS GAME MANNNN!!!

  • A true "CLASSIC" game...

  • Damn dude this brings back memories! i miss these games that had sprites!

  • Must've been more than 10 years since i last played this game. Ah, the memories

  • it just me or did he just "fall" up the stairs @ 2:13

  • I was surprised at how much of these old tunes I still remembered after all of these years, note by note, lol. This game had one of my favorite soundtracks on the SNES. They sure don't make them like they used to....

  • 0.53 GI Joe, billys evil twin

  • it wont play in slow mode if u have it in co op just make sure u got a 1080tv trust i play the 16bit games on 1080. awsome

  • i use 2 luv doin the hurricane kick 2 go downstairs than walking down the stairs

  • Good job on crowd control. My brother and I used to play the **** out of this game growing up (along with Streets of Rage). It always annoys me watching douche-bags make video recordings of them playing old games, and they can't play worth crap. But you were spot-on. I agree that they neutered the hurricane kick in this one. Really, you just save up to do super-power mode. Sword guys were always a pain. Loved the music on this game.

  • Where the hell are the airport security? Are they too busy scrutinizing "suspicious" big boobed Blondies, and harassing ordinary travelers to worry about the nuts throwing bombs, brandishing swords in the lobby? beside the plane, and in the baggage area? (key word "BOMBS", luggage area!).

  • LOL i put this game on my PSP

  • One advice when you fight that Muay Thai guy, the boss of this stage, is that you block some of his attacks, when you block long enough, hit him with kicks, and you should hit with every kick available, and you won't have to get caught in his attacks :)

Just to point things out, i've played this game once and a few times before too when i was very young and i remember this boss very well :)

  • u should do the spinning hurricane kick more

  • Unlike the multiple hits a hurricane kick deals in the Japanese version the hurricane kick in the European PAL version only hits an opponent once and isn't nearly as powerfull as in the Japanese NTSC version. That being said and the reason that it takes you loading half your special bar isn't worth it in my opinion. That's why I don't use it as much as I would like to.

  • You've got a good point there. The Japanese version hurricane kick hits the opponents consistently, therefore inflicting more damage. But here, the hurricane kick is pretty much useless as it only hits once and isn't as useful. So it's understandable why you're not using it much.

  • YES, i understand. YES, i know that. YES, u did read my thoughts on WHY u didn't use the HK as much (cuz it's weak, yada yada) and YES, i own this game and i've beaten it a number of times. That being said, i notice u fight WELL and ur elusive and u showcase a lot of stand-up maneuvers. Therefore, and for the sake of people who actually watch the duration of your video, why not show off a bit more instead of being so effective in killing every enemy?? lol just my point

  • @MarijuanaGood4U

It's fun using Hurricane kick, but when adversaries are double teaming on you, it leaves you little room to pull out this maneuver.

I just load my bar and prepare it between two screens, when there's still no one coming to me. It doesn't work very much with tougher ennemies like Chen Long, Duke or Jackson.

I kinda like VideoGamePervert's playthrough because he shows a nice set of skills.

  • And whenever the sword guy is on the floor i wait till he gets up then i throw the enemy at him. or if he is behind me i can kick him back off. the ninjas too whenever they move at an angle close enough. cuz they dont stand close to u.

  • I played this game many times and I NEVER DIED on the last mission 7. its all anticipating the enemies move. the guy with the blue pants i can tell he would use a slide kick and i blocked them even the ninja purples. the knifes i jump and use x button to block the throw.

  • Yeah, it's definitely a little faster than my version on snes. Maybe it's the recording that do this.

  • have u done this game in co-op at all I really want to see that thanks

  • I am thinking about it. The only problem is that the game runs slower than normal when playing in coop mode.

  • i love the song in this lvl

  • I would sell my firstborn to see this remade in 2.5d on the 360 arcade and playstation network.

  • I love the holds...CRACK..CRACK..CRACK CRACK CRACK...UGHH...

  • i like the music on this level, plus the music that sounds like the one on double dragon 1 i like that stage too.

  • now this game made up for the crap fest, that double dragon 3 was.double dragon was terrible!!!!

  • I loved kneeing them in the face lol

  • The theme for this stage was sooo catchy

  • Some people actually found this game hard? O_o

  • smart enemies, throws a bomb behind his buddy then waks into it

  • This is easily the best game in the Double Dragon series. Next would probably be Battletoads and Double Dragon, that game was also amazing.

  • The japanese version of this called Return of Double Dragon is much better. It had more levels and I think an actual ending.

  • The music is very Rocky inspired. Love it!

  • Me and my friend used to play this all the time when I was a kid...I'd be the red guy, he'd be the blue. I think we beat it a few times...Man, I love nostalgia!

  • One of my favourite missions in this game. The next mission should have been inside the plane that took off.

  • great game, but too hard to play!

  • If you think this version is hard, think again. The japanese version called "Return of the Double Dragon" is even harder. The positive thing in the japanese version is that weapons do more damage and the spinning kick hits an enemy multiple times. The negative things are that you take more damage and enemies can dodge and evade your moves which makes it even harder than "Super Double Dragon".

  • Hey, VGP. Have you already posted the Mission 2 Soundtrack for this game? I love this particular theme, especially at 1:40. Thanks.

  • @VideoGamePervert What do you think about the "Rival Turf" series? I thought they were awesome games. They also had great music too...Have you considered posting a walkthrough of any of those games?

  • @nicomell1 I've played Rival Turf back in the day and Brawl Brothers and The Peace Keepers. I didn't like the first one as much as I thought I would but Brawl Brothers and The Peace Keepers were awesome. I might do some videos on the series in the future.

  • @VideoGamePervert Yea..I agree...The sequels were much better...You had more characters to chose from and they were just better games overall.

  • the guy n the green outfit who lookin like billy wit his name? jeff

  • Awesome!!!!
