  • oh my god you are an evil bitch!!

im 11 and i know that if you kill someone and soemone kills you it means your just as bad as the person!

    your a twat!

  • crazyyyy bitchhhh

  • You are a daft cunt.

    Heard of the eighth amendment?

  • Comment removed

  • Eighth Amendment of the Constitution:

"Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted."

This was written to stop people like you from overstepping your boundaries. If you want an unjust judicial system, go to some Third World country. This is America.

  • I kinduv agree with you for most examples but as for the brutal murdering at raping at the end, the person or people who can d that to someone, criminal or not probably arent all that stable, or have a vendetta like you. I dont think there are ebough crazy people are people with reasons to take care of every criminal (depressingly enough)

  • to death should be speeded up and they should not sit and clog up a prison cell for years on end, but put them to death in humane way. I know you may feel but what about what they did to the victims. I feel that doing more brutal things to them as a way of putting them to death, only leads to lowering ourselves to their level and that is not right. Death is death and God will judge them after death. My opinion is it's enough that they are put to death to begin with. Interesting vids.

  • Interesting point of view. Here is what the issue is I feel. It's not about the manner of death, it's the fact that the death penility takes years and years (if ever) to be inforced in the USA. If proven criminals were put to death and not able to sit on death row for years on end, they would think about the crime a lot more then they do now before they commit a crime. As for doing worse things to them as a way of putting them to death, I don't agree. I feel the process of putting them

  • wow thats kinda weard but its trow

  • "The eighth amendment, I have strange thoughts on that. I think people should not be tortured for no reason (cruel and unusual) but some criminals do horrific things and the victims deserve to feel justice has been served."

Totally agreed! The 8th amendment doesn';t apply to first degree criminals, only to those who are truely "innocent."

  • Everyone, there are a great many opinions on the death penalty being discussed here. However, we need to remember that religion should not be a factor here. The death penalty should be looked at as a solution to problems in society rather than a religious ideal. Religion adds too many factors and arguments both for and against the death penalty that deviate from the issue as a problem in society.

  • I totally agree with your opinions. Glad to see there's other sensible people out there.

  • "thou shall love your neighbour as thyself"

So now the question becomes: who's our neighbor?

I can guarantee you it isn't first degree criminals! Thats why we have Genesis 9:6

Jesus would have no mercy for first degree criminals. That is a FACT.

  • Actually, I asked that question to pechorin, but thaks for answering anyways, bloggsterchick.

You are a hypocrite of the worst kind if you believe in unregulated abortion and don't believe in the death penalty. Unborn babies are truely innocent human beings.

  • BTW Bloggerchickster, you kind of look like Christina Ricci. Nice!

  • "could anyone imagine Jesus excecuting someone or saying and supporting what this bitch said?"

Yes, I can! (see the following verses: Revelation 19:11-21, Genesis 9:6, Ecclesiastes 3:3, John 2, and matthew 23)

BTW, do you believe that a woman has the right to have an abortion?

  • In some cases, yes. Most cases, absolutely not. If you got pregnant by mistake or because you are an idiot and CHOSE not to use a condom, the baby should not be killed for your mistake. If the mother's health is in serious risk or the child has health problems that would make their life horrific, then abortion can be considered. I think abortion is ok if conception occurred from rape, but only if there is undeniable proof.

  • "How can we call ourselves a civilized nation if we openly promote and support such draconian and barberic practices?"

You say barbarism like its a bad thing. Its only a bad thing when commited by the wrong people to the wrong people.

  • "she would pull the switch on her own mother?" I would to if my Mom killed an truely "innocent" person.

  • "it is to implement justice. it is there to punish criminals"

Yeah, and torturing first degree criminmald to death is implementing justice and rightfully punishing them. The punsihment should fit the crime, and first degree crimes warrant death.

People like you need therapy for not being able to comprehend that.

  • How can we call ourselves a civilized nation if we openly promote and support such draconian and barberic practices? Are we not a Christian nation? could anyone imagine Jesus excecuting someone or saying and supporting what this bitch said? did he not promote "turn the other cheek" and "forgive those that have sinned against you"?

  • Yeah, and then he was killed. It didn't seem to work out for him.

  • @pechorin1841 actually according the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment we aren't a Christian Nation.

  • this chick has issues. the criminal justice system is not in place to please someone's bloodlust. it is not for brining closure to the victim's family. it is not there to right a wrong. it is to implement justice. it is there to punish criminals. Mob justice and vigilante justice, which are being promoted here, don't work. she would pull the switch on her own mother? she needs therapy. to quote a classic Metallica tune "Who made you God to say "I'll take your life from you?""

  • Well you have every right to your own thoughts...

think about the people who are killed and then found to be innocent...one innocent man killed is one to many... that is why i disagree with it....

  • Wow, that was... interesting! I think just about everything you suggested would violate the Eighth Amendment of the Constitution, you know that whole "cruel and unusual" hooplah. I support the death penalty; don't think it's used nearly often enough, but as far as I'm concerned, as long as the f***er's dead when it's all over, it really doesn't matter what method they use. You're a scary chick!

  • The eighth amendment, I have strange thoughts on that. I think people should not be tortured for no reason (cruel and unusual) but some criminals do horrific things and the victims deserve to feel justice has been served.

  • eye for an eye, arm for an arm if you kill someone you shoult die too

  • I agree with you death needs to be crual for the crimes these fuckers commit

  • that bich talks sense

  • i agree pretty much but i think they should only do the death penalty if they no the person definetly did it cause u wouldnt wanna get the rong person dead if they didnt do it

  • if you support the death penalty Panakeluva1995, then you are an accessory to murder. there is no grey areas around anything: there is the right way and the wrong way. So no to abortion, to the DP, to assisted suicide etc. we have no business walking through the fog that Satan created no matter how tempting it is!

  • ur a pice of shit go suck a cock mutha fuka

  • why, have you tried it already or are you just being cynical?

  • go fuck off bi

  • what the fuck did ur mother do that u want her dead

  • She murdered my dad, who was my world, the day before my birthday in cold-blood. She is not sorry for what she did and she has not nor will she ever apologize or explain her actions. See, I hate her for a good reason.

  • as long your mother lives there is still hope for you, for her and for God.

  • I'm pretty sure that murder is a commandment. She's going to hell.

  • It is true that "thou shall not kill" it is also true that "thou shall love your neighbour as thyself" which is, according to Jesus, the base works for all of God's commandments...Who follows the Old Testament solely are the Jews and not us Christians!

  • I suppose you are right. But, that is never going to happen. I know we are supposed to turn the other cheek, but I readily admit that I will not turn the other cheek when I have been wronged.

  • You are a pretty lady and you shouldnt spend your life being for the taking of life , Life itself is such a precious thing and no matter what we look at it the Death Penalty is still murder.Pierrepoint was Britian executioner for many years and he said 'The Death penalty didnt stop one murder", I admire that fact you have an opinion and ar willing to share it ,

you will become very bitter and twisted if you spend your life wantng people killed cos Karma is a very dangerous thing !!!

  • I find it so ironic that George W Bush goes on about Human Rights abuses in the Middle East yet he is a propoent of the Death Penalty it seems such a contridiction in what he is saying?

  • you want them killed for killing, well y our a murderer too arent you? i hope you find some peace with yourself. or forgiveness of others or something. KILLING IS KILLING. the end

  • a stupid one you know that? i totally disagree with you. have you ever heard of forgiveness? you must not be very humble with yourself if you have to go and say people shoulld have their fingers cut off and what not...your just as sick and twisted and demented as they are

  • you know what, how are you to say how people should be put to death? death is suppose to be a natural thing and killing someone is robbing them of their own personal dignity. You say youre own MOTHER should get the elec chair and youd be happy? well id like to say the same for mine but you know what, im not giving up on her, even if shes in jail. lethal injection is not a punishment you say? yes it is because they fucking die. you are

  • I usually don't discuss serious issues through comments on YouTube. However, the fact that you'd willingly pay taxes to support the commiting of crimes like what you consider so horrid, shows hypocrisy, as if the act was somehow just. This is a major fallacy, which DP supporters seem unable to comprehend. Also note overwhelming evidence that the DP isn't a deterrent. Some of us are more concerned about preventing future crimes than a misguided sense of justice.

  • "to support the commiting of crimes"? are you miscontextualizing or misreferencing my affirmations on a pre-assumed position of impartiality? so are there moral absolutes, no moral absolutes or you can't decide on whether the DP should exist or be permanently abolished?...

  • ...In my humble opinion, the DP is a social disease as is the crime itself therefore as a society we should work things out then leaving lives to an adversarial and inquisitorial "justice" system. the DP is the end result of individual anarchy and SOCIALLY this is repugnant.

  • I suppose I could say more but much of it has already been said, and there's no point in debating someone whose clearly stated that no amount of evidence will convince them no matter what, as if they were some God incapable of being incorrect.

  • Hm..I just couldn't keep myself from responding. Death penalty advocates are self-righteous hypocrites. Particularly those who say "You'll never change my mind". I don't know how this got on the topic of Jehovah.."An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind".

  • Look, I'll unblock you, but don't spam me. I had a Christian do that once. It was obnoxious.

I suppose I can have debate--discussion--with you there. We have really gone off topic on this page.

    You are unblocked.

  • Don't worry man, I'm not like one of those Jehova Witnesses or Mormons. If there is anything that needs to be clarified I will be more than happy to provide you my opinion followed by facts/examples to back it up. I suppose we can have intelligent discussion & debate.

  • No more than idolizing Motorhead and wrestling. I am a very compassionate person. I just don't believe in God. And that upsets you. God has done nothing for me. God has never shown his face. And if it weren't for the secular academic society I am currently around, I would have been stuck in the clutches of my socio-economical status--presumably forever. So secular society has made a difference in my life.

  • lol Roddy Pipper is actually a close friend of mine. We met last June in Calgary at the Rodeo. We have gotten very close since he has been diagnosed with cancer. As for Motorhead, I met Philip Campbell in London England at the anual assembly for the International Christian Society (ICS). Both of them are devout Christians and very articulate and compassionate individuals....

  • The reasons why you left God are not strange to me. St. Thomas also denied that Jesus was the son of God until he felt his presence(lack of FAITH). Job, who was a man of great wealth and with a close relationship with God lost his family, his property, his health and his life because God and Satan put him to the test but he proven his allegience to God (DEVOTION/SACRIFICE/FIDELITY)...

  • ...Lusither who was an angel of God turned his back on HIM because he wanted to become powerful (INFIDELITY/EGOISM/ARROGANCE)Barbaras that was a serial murder and a rapist was released but became a changed man and died crucified because of his conversion to Christianity (REDEMPTION)...

  • JUDAS betrayed Jesus because of money (MATERIALISM/INDIVIDUALISM/IGNORANCE/ARROGANCE). What is the problem of being born poor? what is the problem with capitalism? why the DP? My friend, there is order and then there is anarchy. there is destiny and there is choice. there is good there is evil. there is greed there is piety. there is truth there is lies. there is awareness and there is ignorance...

  • ...bad things happen to good people, good things happen to bad people. DESTINY VS. CHOICE, CIRCUMSTANCE VS. MERITOCRACY, HUMANISM VS. DIVINITY. What balances each? - RESPONSIBILITY, DISCIPLINE, EDUCATION, AMBITION etc. Where does it come from? Historically from "GOD & FAMILY" by way of the Bible. Why deny it now? INDIVIDUALISM, MATERIALISM, INTEREST by way of SECULARISM...

  • You know, I could relate with you in some ways, I too was born poor. I too faced dilemnas when growing up. and if it wasn't for Church I wouldn't have gotten to where I am at. we went in opposite directions and we both found happiness at what we do. But, rest assured that there is always two roads to every decision...

  • ... Your decision though was based on your human needs, my decision was based on my spiritual ones. Where will they lead us? When you die you'll know, when I born again we'll all know....

  • You are just trying to be rude. All you do is call names. Ignorant? I am far more educated than you, I'm sure. And I don't need to be as well versed as you in your pathetic religion. God doesn't exist. Intelligent design isn't even accepted as a science! Religion was the first form political manipulation! To make people subservant! You religion, as with all, is a FUCKING HOAX YOU SPINELESS IRRATIONAL MORON! GROW UP!

  • in Europe calling someone an ignorant isn't perceived as name calling but an incentive to change one's acts and respect true authority and most of all morality. when you don't know what you are saying it is best not to say it. we are not diferente you and I, but I am able to detect my social and moral networks while you ignore yours. you have no human compassion and you say that I am the foe of all humanity? my friend you have no credibility whatsoever like all secularists...

  • I do not want to give you another history and political science lesson. So making a long story short, historically there was no accountability and neutral judiciaries. The best way to gain votes is by relating to the public, to maintain power is by relating to the people (this is a historically proven fact)...

  • ..However when using religion to serve one's HUMAN ENDEAVORS even the most commun folk knows that it is a form of corruption and manipulation. Once again, I state my case...seperation of state from Church with a neutral judiciary run by moralists not by legalist/secularists. The government and judiciary should never lose its touch of the values held by society: "God, Family & Nationhood" - J.F.K.

  • Tell me how I do not have any compasion? Tell me, because that is the first time I have heard that!

  • ...Not only is it the closest thing there is to the original scriptures in the english language it also inspired such theorists as John Locke and Jeremy Bentham. The KJV like the instauration of the Anglican Church by KJ VIII was to deflect entirely from the tabernacular of Christian thought. Anyway, unblock me if you want this correspondence to last any longer.

  • oh and by the way, you should consider a rap career: you make evil look even more seductive than it already is. you say that I ignite more hatred while you ignite hatred to mankind via a sub-culture? You might be a good person to those around you but to society as a whole your secularim/atheism infiltrated in a sub-culture is corrupting minds and destroying the youth. is that compassionate?

  • I guess the first part of the message was cut. The version of the Bible I was referring to is THE DOUAY-RHEIMS TRANSLATION. I am familiar with the KJV but this one is read in over 164 countries wrold-wide recognized by the Roman Catholics, Christian Orthodoxs and to a large extent the Presbyterians. I suggest reading this one. take care.

  • I love you rsiano!

  • rsiano can't reply to anything that's good natured. It has to be confrontaional. Sad.

  • TheTorturer666: "Islam over secularists? I shudder how you could rationalize that." is that good natured or a reflection of what I have been saying all along--that your an ignorant? Surely it can be both and can instantly lead to confrontations! People like you give the rest of the world a bad impression of what the US and democracy stands for. NOW THATS LAMENTABLE & SAD.

  • I was trying to be light-hearted for a moments time. But, go ahead, keep calling names. I figured we needed a break.

  • light-hearted or light-minded? theres a difference between innocence and ignorance. what you say out of light-heartedness is characteristic of innocence while light-mindedness is when you say something out of ignorance...surely you can't call a child an ignorant but can you call an adult innocent (only if retarded)? so that is why in my view your old enough to know better and not condemn yourself to redicule....sad.

  • Why I am trying to drop it: It is impossible to reason and rationalize and debate someone who bases their argument off the bible. I don't believe in fairy tales, and I could care less for your moral relativism.

If I replaced the stories in the bible with modern day fairy tales like Peter Pan--you wouldn't know the difference. At least evengelicals try to win minds over to Christ--you trash talk. You are trash.

  • my good foe, confrontations in given contexts leads to greater goods beyond the mere assurance of a particular aim or cause but on the grounds of what is just, moral and collective for everyone's enjoyment. Confrontation is what made ideas and nations flourish and lives become more integral at a social, political and theological standpoint.

  • Foe? You are the foe of all humanity. You are in a dirty cult! It was nut cases like you who scared me out of the community when I was young. Go give some cash to Falwell or Oral Roberts. You can't debate! Trash talk your ass off, I am not responding to you.

    Goofy Christian.

  • being evangelical? wow you are indeed ignorant. its from Aristotles (Greek Philosopher). you need to start researching!

  • Where's Richard Dawkins? Richard, we need you!

  • ...anti-tradition and anti-morality for they are implying an imperfect view on the integral order of our lives and of our existence! this will according to our Bible lead to the Apocalypse because Satan's will to deviate us from God will beaccomplished. My problem is with Secularism and not with Muslims nor Jews as a result of this.

  • Islam over secularists? I shudder how you could rationalize that.

  • I studied the Koran, the Torah and our Bible and I know what Islam is and it is not what the media or your ignorance put it out to be. FUNDAMENTALISM is as evil as your SECULARISM and being TRUE Christians, Muslims or Jews do not resemble either of these two. Who ever uses God to promulgate human endeavours is deemed traitors of divine providence. This is why Church and State should be seperate with a politics of coherence between the two.

  • My good friend, you are not talking to any ordinary 21 year old. At the age of 14 I was already delivering sermons to people twice my age across Spain and Portugal about these issues. I have been studying the tabernacular, politics and law since I was 7 years of age. I never had a regular childhood and therefore I was already mature enough at the age of 4 to go work for my grandparents to put bread and water on the table. you have no idea how society changed...

  • Probably a portion of my previous messages to you was omitted so I will quickly resume this; basically Secularism is anti-morals, anti-family and pro-choice. What this means is that choice is placed in the hands of irresponsible individuals that are victims of Secular laws and secular education that destroyed there family upbringing...

  • Freedom of choice, dude. It's fucking fantastic. Everyone has it it's just whether or not they use it for good or bad. And, my friend, it's here to stay.

  • all of you secularists created those "psychos" and all of you are ignorant to admit it. but ignorance is the ends of ill-minded secularists like yourself. both people like you and CRIMINALS are ignorants of human life, but I see that as a social disease and like all diseases I rather that we find a cure than pulling the plug on you guys...

  • ...This is why that TRUE Christians oppose the death penalty because we recognize the problems behind absolute-choice because if there is no natural family and morals then how can one grow up to choose responsibly? PRO-CHOICE + FEMINISM + ATHEISM + SECULARISM + COMMUNISM = APOCALYPSE

  • Get there all by yourself?

  • you know, the real irony here TheTorturer666 is this; you favor the death penalty and you have shown that you are a secularist, so haven't you recognized that those you want dead are victims of your secularism? haven't you noticed that secularism is the primary cause of anti-family, anti-religion and anti-morals...

  • Religion, and yours, no doubt, are the fundamental cause of most hate crimes, biggoted name calling, and blood shed. You are so prideful, it's pathetic. You are the antithisis of what your bible teaches. Which lends to the irony, here. Get off my back, and leave me alone!

  • you must be confused between a religious cult and institutionalized faith/religion. many centuries ago that argument would be valed as for what us Christians did in the Crusades and in the Inquisitorial era. the Vatican was a centre of power, of wealth...of interest. nothing they said resembled what is in the vernacular and that played a fundamental role in their own downfall. the division of our faith was iminent and the division of State from Church too...

  • ...I support this division as long that the notions of good isn't infiltrated into a secularist agenda which its ends are destructive and evil in the long term. you can't compromise the word of God which is perfect and infalible with the word of men which is imperfect and falible. one is governed by absolute authority and assurance while the other by greed, tyrany, power and bloodshed...

  • ...when the humans use faith as their flag to mobilize the populous to do inhuman deeds under the will of God then it is equally as evil as secularism which basically means the ignorance of the existence of God. Us TRUE Christians oppose both! True Muslims also oppose both and the Jews too! Secularism and Blasphemy are opposite but both leading to the same peril...the same ends!

  • ...it changed in the sense that back then there was a sense of initiative, loyalty, respect and sense of authority among the young and the old. compared to what I see now it is no wonder that most people say that "God is dead" because there is no devotion and no sense of collectivity just downright indvidualism...no one there is copywrite laws, the right to own a hand gun, the right to seek revenge by way of the DP, children talking back to their parents etc. etc.

  • ...that crafts people to who they become? you are not a delinquent yet because you were born to a middle-class/religious family I'm sure, but generations from now there won't be family, uniformity, perserverance, respect- just pro-choice individualism! and when you want to do what YOU FEEL IS BEST FOR YOU YOU DO IT? CRIMINALS ARE VICTIMS OF SECULARISM CONSTRUED ON EDUCATION, WORK-PLACE & SOCIETY and there should NOT be a DP.

  • I just wanted to say that I liked the video. I too agree that the death penalty should be the way to go with all the psychos and rapists and other forms of human scum that infest this nation. And I also admire you being so honest. Great job and don't let those religious bastards get you down.

  • BSbuster06, look at how you phrased that..."human scum that infests the nation". by implying HUMAN you are ignorantly disregarding their HUMAN imperfectionality that is pre-born and sociologically determined therefore it is natural and sociological. WHERES THE HUMANITY IN THAT LOGIC?-NONE!

  • If they're going around causing massive amounts of suffering to people who don't deserve it, why the hell should I even care about them? They're a lost cause. It's cold, it's brutal, but it's true.

  • ...its more than enough time that the US takes a paternalistic approach to these social malpractices that infects the natural composition of family values. it is shame that the world's oldest democracy can't resolve these domestic issues like mosts Western nations.

  • for a country of 300 Million shifting to Secularist norms, with immigration at its peak, with 60% of its population with no secondary/post secondary education, with divorce rates escalating and unemployment rising you can now see how this effects family-structures and society as a whole. the real problem is Secularism and you are all ignorant to recognize it!

  • I understand where you are coming from, not fully, because of the details you did not specify, but I get it. However, you must understand, people aren't as rational about the topic as you are. You know how many people just want to see someone die? Inspiring a culture of violence is not the way. So, publisizing a spectacle like that is far more trecherous, than the act. In my opinion. I hope you would consider that.

However, I wish the death penalty were a federal institution. I'm backwards.

  • TheTorturer666, what does your nickname suppose to mean? It is no wonder that you agree with death and cruelty to the human being that you haven't created thus have no possession over. 666....you will know the exact meaning of that number when you pass away...

  • My response was to the video--not you. Also, my name was given to me on my High School debate team, some seven years ago. The 666 is simply conotating the Torturer for affect. It means nothing, I am neither evil, nor supersticious. You on the other hand seem ignorant. Death Penalty is not cruelty.

  • ...You don't have to have my level of sophistication to be backwards for you are already backwards by admitting to your ignorancy. the US is a Christian and a Democtratic nation while its people barely knows what it means to them...and to others.

  • Torturer666, so using your optic, the US being a "culture of violence" as you claim, should use violence and death as a form of maintaining law and order? it is a fact, democracy, the rule of law and the notions of religion and family are the most influential weapons against anarchy. surely, you do want to destroy US cultural values and replace them with a "culture of violence."

  • ...I'm not inspiring a "culture of violence", what I am doing is inspiring a culture of ignorants as yourself that it hasn't been violence that made your country great it has indeed been UNITY and FIDELITY to NATIONHOOD, GOD and FAMILY. So perserve their legacy than adopting the violent cultural theory for it is misleading and unjustifiable!

  • What is ignorant is ding-bats such as yourself who can't have logical dialogue without calling names. I didn't call you one name. You give the Right a bad name--you give Christ a bad name!

So realize, please, that you didn't bring one bit of sense to this argument. And that you went down the road of a child.

PS: You are far from sophisticated, and if Christ exits--he wouldn't have you.

  • I live in an apartment building in Los Angeles. A former tenant, a young woman maybe 22 or 23 years old once lived here with her young son. Somedays she would leave the kid alone in her apartment and the kid would bang on the apartment door (a glass sliding door)to be let out. They moved out a long time ago. Sometimes I wonder what will happen to that kid. I never called the cops or nothing.

  • maybe that kid suffered from a mental illness. there is no need for you to get remorseful about the uncertain. I was beaten up 365 days a year until I was 7 years old by my grandmother and everything I accomplished I owe to her. as far as I'm concerned, whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger!

  • Could be you're right. Could also be that the kid is on his way to something awful in his life. I don't believe that criminals are made out of thin air. They come from somewhere, from some background. There's always a background story to every life.

  • me either, but you got to understand that not always does the ends justifies the means. there are many children that are raised in disfunctional households and become succesful at whatever they do. we should never act on perception...we should on the other hand respect the autonimy of every individual given the plurality of family structures and their cultural and circumstancial bearings (unless it inflicts psychological or physical suffering on others).

  • ...and perserve their cultural values.

  • criminality is a social disease not a genetic, therefore it is crucial that we begin to find other ways to CORRECT the problem. I suggest that every parent under the age of 24 are subject to parenting courses in their native tongues in a way that fits their cultural upbringing and respects American and Canadian law thus making their new breed law abiding citizens!

  • Hello Ricardo. I didn't write anything about genetics. When I wrote "I don't believe that criminals are made out of thin air" in my previous post, I wasn't speaking of genetics. I was referring to the social circumstances that create crminals. That is what I meant by "create out of thin air". Every person is, in large measure, a product of their experience; personalities aren't created overnight; there's a social history behind every criminal.

  • Hi Bruce. I never instated otherwise. You have my 100% backing on the matter. We just need to avoid extreme leftest takes on the issue (USSR, China, Cuba etc.) and extreme right-wing politics (Iraq, Iran, United States, Turkey etc.) and invest ourselves (personally and/or financially) than letting our gov'nts and the judiciary use a adversarial and monetary/power interest approach.

  • it is easy to label someone as a criminal but many people don't have that choice and therefore we should approach the matter with the utmost respect for the physical and psychological integrity of that person and not generalize and/or stigmatize them if we have an interest (if we are victims, politicians, or supporters of the DP) in doing so...

  • ...The life of a prisoner, a patient suffering from an incurable disease or a pre-born has the same organic right to life as the very orderly fashion of their existence.

  • I so completely disagree with you. I've had that theory shoved down my throat since my mother went to prison. Everyone has choices. The choices might suck, but they are choices and I choose who and what I become. Its about strength and character and accepting responsibility for ones actions. That theory just grants excuses to those who refuse to live life.

  • Not everyone thinks as clearly as you do. Nor do they have your self-possesion. We can go around with this argument forever. There will never be a 100% answer to anything. Human beings are imperfect. And imperfectable. No one is writing abut 'excuses'; only, I think, some sense of an explanation.

  • if one that does not have a faith in moral absoluts and in democracy and approach every single issue in a retaliative or vengeful manner the discussion will go on forever. it is a pitty that our race will never evolve after great politicians like Gandhi or JFK and theologians like St. Thomas Aquinas or Jesus have paved the way to reach compromise through selflessness, mutuality and respect...

  • I can argue against the DP in 5 different perspectives and all makes sense unless you are either driven for power or a victim/supporter of the DP. No one is perfect so aren't we therefore lets approach these issues without sacrificing lives to the unforseeable ends. our doctrine is our law, our imperfectionality is our distruction!

  • this theory was first introduced by a British BEAUROCRAT (NOT A CRIMINAL) by the name of Hobbes in his publication of the Leviathan in the 17th century. if the theories of democracy, liberty, natural law (etc)that he defended aren't so appealing as his take on the abolishment of the DP then a true democracy will never exist since we are STILL denying to live in a enlighten era where we respect choice/opinion for good and for bad...

  • ...some US states have a Democratic structure with an inquisitorial mentality, this is, the gov'nt of those states are handing over State affairs that are suppose to be neutral to the people that are in turn infiltrated in the judiciary. not only is the DP a matter of partizanship but as well a matter of inquisitorial/fascist/pro-right business men, politicians and interest-baring citizens that consider themselves Christians and Democrats ignorantly!

  • now you tell me, if it is right for a lawyer to run for judge if the notion of justice is to reach a verdict with impartiality and respect for the human integrity of that person? will democracy ever be fully attained if electoral politics are based on whether the DP should be abolished, perserved or reinstated? it is selfish, cruel and uncivilized of us to us issues of morality as a political framework especially considering that...

  • ... (a) we are Christians meaning that we are pro-life being hypocrits and power driven if we consciously deny this (b) that we are using the lives of some in the benefit of ourselves and those that don't want to evolve with the times and (c) we are denying minority and religious rights in a way deemed undemocratic...

  • First of all, religion should in no way be a part of law. Another is that we're talking about scum, people who wouldn't give a rat's ass about you and would most likely kill you and your entire family if given the chance. These are not people you should be preaching for. These are wild dogs that need to be put down in the harshest manner possible.

  • if someone of my family was killed you know what I would do? I would forgive who ever took their life when I could think straight and genuinely mean it but I would also want a sense of justice and imprisonment is the best way to have it. Why? because their life is worth as much as anyone elses. My problem would not be with him but with the forces that posses him...

  • ...so if they are imprisoned they won't harm anyone else and have the opportunity to ask to heal their wound as I would ask God to heal any hate I would have towards them... like any criminal we have souls to emancipate from hate, envy, violence....revenge!

  • ... reflect about these things and if you believe in democracy, minority and religious rights, judicial neutrality and collectivism as opposed to indivividualism than you are being true to your nation, to your family and to God that is the same God in all religious fractions!

  • God's dead, my friend. He always has been.

  • Miss. Heidi, these takes aren't solely theoretical they are doctrinal and theological by nature thus the vernacular in motion for societal evolution!

  • the only point i missed out is the fact that the victims family should have the right to perform the death sententce or put male rapists in a woman prison they would know how to deal with them no more segergation to pedo's in normal prison wing wish we had the death penlty ps nice pussy " cat"

  • great point of view bring back hard labour no waiting 20 years for appeals then the chair if thet did this crime premeditated then no appeals. burnt alive should be one of the ways to do it. durg deallers should be given drugs then made to go cold turkey then made an addict again then cold turkey. and prisoners should pay room and borad

  • I don't know about that. Thats a little extreme. Besides, I think this country wastes too much money jailing people for drug offenses. I personally think drugs should be legal and treated the same as alcohol.

  • However, prisoners should work to pay their own room and board.

  • WTF? youd kill your own mom?

  • Yes, because she is not my mother, she is a murderer.

  • Did you even graduated from high school yet? your opinion sucks big time.Because not only does your little video show, that you have no healthy I.Q. left in your braincells, nor do you know much about the death penalty, and if it does any good and if it resolves the problems our society has.Killing someone legally does not make you a better person than the one who killed the first time, think about it? it makes you the same person - a murderer that is!

  • Sweetheart,I assume you are indeed a little nutty and few cards short of a full deck.Let me give you a little education for free, since most of you don't get it through High School.

Your examples are pathetic and only proves that 68% americans are uneducated and have no all around knowledge.

Listen, countries that do not even have the deaht penalty have less crimes. And you honestly think, harsher punishment? u are god damn sick mind, you know that? well I got 2 words for ya - SUCK IT

  • you are fucking wild i hope you loose one of your fingers

  • Yeah, right after I take something that doesn't belong to me.

  • im for the death penalty to, but hanging ppl? thats all you can think of? comeon, be more sadistic, strap em to a chair and burn them alive. or something

  • good job, we need more people representing conservative views on youtube

  • You are such an ignorant US girly girl. Go to your stupid church and pray to the God that does not exist and read the stupid bible, which actually is a book of rape and violence. Your are so lol.

  • How about posting an intelligent thought, perhaps something that goes like, "I disagree and here is why" rather than slinging insults like a 5 year old.

  • bloggerchickster,

I really like your eyes...you are so cute. I'm sorry if I'm totally flirting.

Your opinions are valid as well. That is the beauty of free speech in America.

  • Thanks.

  • *what's ridiculous?

  • so YOUR an atheist, but anyway, in my opinion, saying no to the death penalty is being to nice to criminals.

  • That is ridiculous.

  • what's

  • I like this video. You raise some really good points. If you get a chance, listen to "Simple Man," by the Charlie Daniels Band.

  • Well I wrote the same thing to Maron that in Singapore, the chop off a finger if they commit any offenses - or a hand depending on the offense. Singapore's Crime is VERY low. And If you see someone missing a finger or a hand. You know to stay away from them. Be careful of them. I think that idea is practical.

  • I believe torture is wrong at every single level but I have no actual problem with the death penalty. Interesting Video, check out my videos please and tell me what you think.

  • Hi. Here are facts: Punishment does not deter crime. Rehabilitation does not either. There is something called the "Brutalization Effect" which explains through statistics that following an execution, the crime rate goes up. Death as a punishment may make victims and families feel better, but it in no way deters crime. Tried to use only facts and leave my opinion out of it, but maybe I didn't do so well. Still, I enjoyed the topic :)

  • I get the point that you disagree with the death penalty. But, I completely respect your opinion, especially since you stated the facts rather than sling hateful insults.

  • actually, statistically rehabilitation does help to a certain degree if it is ran accordingly. in Corrections Canada's anual report the repeat offenders crime rate has diminuished by a significant 64%. the gov'nt of Canada has invested over $700 million in the past 5 years and the results are emerging steadily....

  • in the USA, based on the statistics I have with me, the state of Maine and Michigan (that don't have the DP)has invested over $500 and $900 million respectively and the repeat offenders crime rate has descended by 75% and 69% respectively. the state of California on the other hand that has the DP in terms of ROR has a mediocre 26%...

  • ...this just proves that if there is a commitment by tax payers to have their tax money spent, and by our elected representatives to enforce these programs and if ran credibly, than "corrections" is not solely about PUNISHING but about CORRECTING offenders...

  • There is no real way you can "correct" offenders. These assholes will just spend a bit of time in a cell, get released, then go back to the violent crimes they've committed before. You really wanna stop these maniacs? Strap him to the electric chair (there are more inventive executions I can think of but this is just one example) and fry the bastard.

  • dont tell her to open up anything to anything, her grievences are her buisness. her getting help is not to ur concern, unless u are a professional, which i highly doubt, because if u were, u would know that its HER business,,

bloggerchickster, i really like this video, i love the topic u covered.

  • you and your political correctness bs of autonimy. due to lack of intervention it is no wonder that kids nowadays grow up with false morals and delinquent mindsets. if you believe that absolute autonimy is desirable than it sure justifies why God is continuously being riped off the US Constitution...

  • the real problem in the US isn't terrorism, its secularism (separation of state from Church, negating the existance of God, absolute sovereignty to political ideals etc.). as far as I'm concerned, the US is facing the same problems the USSR was facing: political conscious vs. morals and theological consciousness. the disease starts with the state and the judiciary and then passed to the people.

  • If there is such a thing as God (and I'm not saying there is) He is probably dead or a fat slob who just sits back in a recliner while the very people he "loves" suffer from numerous horrible situations such as famine or disease. Just thought I'd let you know how I felt.

  • you have inherited that juxtaposition but unlike you I care for what you think, I care for what she thinks, because I will have children and I'll be damned that they grow up in contracept to what is moraly obligatory: "Love thy neighbour as thyself". this is why many Christians were thrown to the lions, why many people died against political tyranny and for democracy to prevail. keep your autonimy while I keep the truth self-evident...

  • about me being a professional. I'm a self-made social and political worker, an activist, a legalist, a missionary, a criminologist, a historian, a anthropologist, a sociologist, a psychologist, a political scientist and on top of all that a human being that thinks..."I think therefore I am" - (Descartes). :)

  • you are right
