Eh, being a MGS player since the 90's I just cant get over the fact they make Snake so weak and old in MGS 4. Throughout the whole game you have to rely on everyone else to do stuff for you. I like the game, just wish they kept the younger solid snake for this one and find a way to work it into the plot.

Ocelot was twenty in MGS 3. He was born in 1944. He's roughly 70 in MGS4. But because of the nanomachines and the sheer conditioning he goes through, he's pretty damn healthy for an old guy

Liquid shut down every ones nano machines. The nanos were designed to supress emotions like feer, sorrow and anger! and all of these feelings were released at the same time. Thus, they break down! Hell, even Snake himself get's effected by it! And he of all have had a living hell! But he is storng enough to still have controll of his own body!

AHA but this is the weird part i found. Did he ever get them in shadown moses cuz everyone is suppose to have an anti-freezing peptide to avoid hypothermia in alaska and Johnny was part of the genome army at the time so did he ever take them willingly or forcefully is a good question.

apparently, he must have rejected the nanites, which is why he was always having stomach problems and diarrhea. it would also explain why he wasn't in synch with the rest of the squad. its just in this instance, his liability was an asset.

yeah, i wrote that before i saw the rest of the cutscenes. I just assumed because of his GI problems, his body was rejecting them. didn't know it ran in his family, and that he was a wuss about the shots. in any event, they did end up proving to be an asset once or twice.
