it's so funny how in every Muay Thai video there is comments about TKD and in every TKD vid there are comments about MT. People are so insecure about there style that they have to put others down. These are not TKD techniques, mabye TKD has similar or same techniques but if you have ever watched a demo of muay boran in the lumpinee stadium you will see these techniques in use.

Also TKD use many techniques from Thai boxing so yes that is why there is lots airborne

Why on earth is the guy in the white trunks jumping into the air when he goes to kick? Very staged and faggy. I have seen grown men knocked over in similar fashion when a dog as run under their legs when they have been jumping. Step into this old cunts kicks and counter punch and you will find a much different result.

@myjizzureye Its staged for the purpose of the DVD. However, i train under the tutelage of one of this guy, Master Sken's, Affiliate Instructors and believe me when thrown full SPEED and full POWER a muay thai kick is not telegraphed. Its a million times better than any other art purely because it takes what works and ditches what doesnt..unlike kali/escrima/JKD/TKD etc etc. Techniques in Muay thai are learnt quickly and easily and then its training training training.

@BXplosive he's not just a muay thai trainer he also teaches muay boron and krabi krabong. he's a grand master and if it wasn't for him you wouldn't know what muay thai is. they are traditional muay thai kicks because master toddy and master 'A' teach them as well. kisses

master sken is now based in stockport. 25 years ago i went to his camp in manchester it was named hollywood , drove to the park tonight and saw his school ,went in and spoke to him and i am having my first lesson wed at 7pm (first lesson free) its just off newzeland road . hope this helps.

Kind of wonder what it would look like if he was to actually let loose on some of these kicks. The only times he was actually putting any true power behind the kicks was when his training partner had the pad out to absorb the shot. Rest of the time his partner was selling the hit even if GM Sken didn't follow through on the kick. Having trained with Master Toddy I know first hand some of these guys seem ageless.
