This is a Gama Goat. The trailer hitch incorporated a drive shaft to power the trailer wheels as well.
They are powered by a Detroit Diesel engine, usually a 4-53, four cylinders of 53 cubic inches each.

Wrong they were powered using a GM 3-53 not a 4-53

Ty Gama goats and a small missle launcher used the 353.If you find a small missle launcher with treads post me back looking for one?
Not unless I can measure it for curtains first.
