@lodolodi I never cared for weddings, (?) Never though of silk and laces, flowers orange I've been a rambler most of my life and I tought that it was fine But for you I could always change my mind I've never been married, I've never been in love But for you I could always change my mind You treated me so friendly, everything so nice and kind I found myself thinking of you all the time Weary days and lonely nights, you're always in my dreams My ramblin' days are over, you've ruined me it seems
They had that classic Bluegrass sound that many bands just can't (or don't try to) get anymore. Got to see them live several times and enjoyed every minute.
Just one of the very finest BG acts ever....modern BG bands have great musicians and a slick sound, but they essentially lack what The JMB's had in spades, which is that hairs-on-the-back-ofthe-neck raising KILLER LIVE delivery.Great old clip, thanks.
Eddie Stubbs is as fine a man as he is a fiddle player. Class act all the way. I've known Eddie since high school. Even back then you could tell he was something special. A great guy!
Tom is playing a Gold Star Banjo ,I believe it's anearly 80's model

You hit the nail on the head there. Most bands are all licks, no soul, no humor.
