To be honest I don't even know what 'hardcore' means. When I was younger it meant that the music had a touch of hardcore punk in it. The singing is excellent, it has emotion, and isn't completely fucked with by computers and programs. The rap elements define them as a band, giving them passion and emotion. For me anyways...

@jimzeez I didn't mean hardcore as a genre, more just screaming and growling in general, I typically prefer if the music is going to be heavy to start with then might as well scream and growl the majority of the song. It is good that they don't use computer elements to enhance the voice, but it could just be covered by growling or screaming more akin to death metal or metal core. I don't mean screaming like screamo, they usually seem sub par.
