All war is immoral. The troops go and do as they are ordered, as I did in Viet Nam. If you have never been in a combat situation you can never understand the feeling. Unfortunately, there is and always will be evil in the world. What no one ever sees is the good thing the military does for the civilian population. If left up to the mainstream media you never will.
The war is a shame. But what part of radical lslam don't you understand? Those wackos want to kill all westerners (US). If we do not fight them there, they wil come here and kill innocent civilians. Them you will see bloodshed. Remember9/11? How soon we forget... I don't agree with the way the war was handled but IT IS NOT A ILLEGAL WAR. Congress was consulted and voted for. I spent my time in another "war" in the sixties I know how sad it can be. Support the Troops!
It is an illegal war, and just because our Congress voted for it does not make it legal. It was and will forever be an immoral war.
Unfortunately, our military have found themselves embroiled in it too...could they say no more, it would take tremendous leadership, and the backing of the American public.
Every image in this video is the reason I put my body down on the beach for Beach Impeach 1 & 2. Thank you for documenting it. Anyone reading this comment who lives anywhere near the SF Bay Area, join us when we do it again: Beach Impeach III on September 15th, 1 PM at Crissy Field, San Francisco. Your outline in one of the letters is waiting for you. Please come.
I also was out to everyone of these Beach Impeach demonstrations...but look we are still in Iraq. It will take a whole lot more from the American citizens than what we have done so far...and things have to get worse.
I don't think we can really wrap our minds and hearts around the fact that the dismantling of America is happening
it brings tears to my eyes. too often i start feeling alone in this struggle and then the artistry and dedication of this artist and those activist citizens who lay down in the sand for justice remind me that i and we will never be alone in this wrestling with the dark angels. thank you again for refreshing my vision. Every time I see this video I remember the peaceful and harmonious energy of the thousand of us who were there at the beach on that amazing morning... and I think about what a wonderful world this could be... and i think what a great and powerful thing Jamie has created here in this video...
Brought tears of horror and anger, along with solidarity behind the IMPEACHMENT of these CRIMINAL politicians. From New Orleans, to add insult to injury.- thank you! i will be sending this out! -NikkoNOLA
Great video! I was there for Beach Impeach I and II and this video connects the excitement of the event with the some of the main reasons that we were all there: the illegal war and occupation of Iraq and the detaining of civilians without regard to Constitutional protections. Please forward this video to your friends and contacts!
Great video! I'll be embedding the video on the Marin Peace and Justice Coalition website at mpjc(dot)org stop by have a look. We brought the yellow bumper stickers and yellow impeach buttons.
